I don't really know what to make of this.

I have another M1 Mini here now, in exactly the same usage spot/connection - everything - as before when I had one (that I returned) that was a BT nightmare.

All that's different is macOS 11.2 (now 11.2.1) and I'm having no BT issues.

All software?
Some software + maybe a dud Mini?

Through all this, I never had even a blip of a hiccup with my Hackintosh on all version of Big Sur, in exactly this situation/location, etc.

I am getting a bit of crackling noises when listening to music through my Amazon Echo. I also get a bit of stuttering from my Logitech mouse too. I thought my mouse mat was to blame but after seeing the replies, I'm not alone it seems.

The only bluetooth issue I had was my M1 Air kept failing to be unlocked by my Apple Watch. It works perfectly after 11.2.

You trying to say that the M1 computers have no bluetooth issues?
M1 Macs used to have Bluetooth issues. After 11.2 that has been fixed. Me and tons of other users confirm that there are no issues anymore after the update. So everyone still having issues is either plagued by interference problems or some kind of hardware fault. If you have ruled out interference, get it repaired / replaced by Apple. That simple.

So far I have had almost no bluetooth problems (only a few problems at first start and a hickup here and there).
That is with my Magic Keyboard 2 with Num Keys, Magic Trackpad 2 and my Logitech MX Master 3 mouse.

However, when I try to use my AirPod Pro's the music gets intermittently interrupted.
It plays plays 2-4 seconds stops a few seconds and plays a few seconds. Unusable!
After that My keyboard starts acting up too. Even though I turned the AirPods off 10 minutes ago.

I have the very latest OS version.

I have loads of devices here and I never had this problem so it's clear it's the Mac Mini M1.
By now I don't believe they can fix this with software.
Bad design if you ask me. Too much in a hurry to throw it on the market and grab the big bucks.

I updated and my Homepod STILL will not Airplay through Youtube. It DOES play through Apple Music just fine.

I still have the following issue:

My Sony BT headphones get disconnected when the display goes to sleep on my M1 MBP. Anyone else with this Problem?

Yep, the magic mouse works fine for me, but the Apple keyboard started stuttering after the 11.2.1 update. The keyboard is unusable unless plugged into a USB port.

Strange the update 11.2 on the Mac Mini solved the bluetooth issues I had and has been working well ever since the update. Today the D/C started again with the Airpods Max, Restart, updating to 11.2.1, resetting bluetooth module and reset apple devices doesn't fix this...

Resetting the airpods max themselves to factory settings seems to have pleased the macOS M1 connection for now on the Mac Mini...

I use my MBA with an identical setup at home and the office, with the apple keyboard and trackpad. For the first time today they both connected when I plugged it in without having to go to setup. Unfortunately there is a long delay for each keystroke on the keyboard. Its basically unusable.

Properly implemented Bluetooth components and driver software have solved the WLAN/Bluetooth interference issue long ago.

Here’s one example of many hundreds:

Post in thread 'Why is Bluetooth crap in Bootcamp?'
https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/why-is-bluetooth-crap-in-bootcamp.1573147/post-17173683

Google “Bluetooth coexistence” or “Bluetooth collaboration”

Writing off Bluetooth connectivity issues on modern hardware/drivers as “interference” doesn’t pass muster.

Since the beginning I had bluetooth issues with my Mac mini 2018 (OS 11.2.1): disconnect - reconnect after about 50s. I use the Apple magic keyboard, a Logitech MX Master 3 for Mac and a Sony SRS X7 speaker. I keep the Mac away from USB devices and let him breathe freely, no stuff put on it, free air flows.

Now the interesting stuff:
- During my office hours it does not happen.
- During my evening hours I use Logic Pro with many plugins and hence the temp rises - but at a "normal" level, not frightening. In the evenings it happens. I try to get rid of it with powering up the fans to 4000rpm (using "Macs Fan Control" 3rd pty tool). Otherwise I have to return it to the Apple store.

I had the same issue when I bought the Mac Mini 2018 some time ago. I bought a small, cheap, USB bluetooth adapter and set the system to use that instead of the bulit-in bluetooth. And since then, all of my bluetooth devices have been working perfectly.

As of this thread I see I'm not the only one who has micro-stuttering while using my MX3 mouse connected via BT.. I recently purchased a new MBA M1 and straight away updated to 11.2.1, not sure if 11.2 has been better regarding this issue. What is interesting that I also use a BT keyboard and BT speakers, none of them has trouble, could this be Logi Options bug? Has anyone tried to use MX3 without any additional Logi software installed, just plain BT connection?

I'm using a Logitech MX3, with and w/o options, + a Logitech 810 BT keyboard. On my Mac Mini M1W, with this setup I have the same intermediate mouse stalling issues esp. when trying to connect to WiFi - but it doesn't.
You might notice the laggy stalling mouse becoming worse when switching WiFi on/off.
I believe this is not easily solvable by simple updating the OS SW, as it seams to be somewhere deeper, like in BT/WLAN FW or stack or maybe even on HW/antenna design. As described in a recent reply, it looks looks this could be a poor HW/antenna design causing interference problems whereas BT and WLAN 2.4GHz coexistence is not reasonably implemented. Also a poorly designed USB 3 port (or USB 3 device with bad cable) can also interfere with wireless.
It is also possible that the BT polling rate config are an issue.

Possible solution: By switching off all surrounded wireless devices and switching to 5G WiFi (vs. 2.4), the WiFi suddenly works for the first time on my M1 mini and BT gets more stable (but the stalling laggy mouse issue is not yet completely fixed). Finally, I'm using ETH vs WiFi.
I'm potentially assuming this is HW bug and needs a fix by Apple, which would show they didn't yet come up with a solution. waiting...
BTW: don't try the Apple Betas, it's a nightmare going back to stable release channel.

My experience as well on all of the above.

I have had my new Air, 16Gb for a few days. Using a wired mouse as I don't have a wireless and for music, art, movies I was concerned about dropping, glitches,, latency. IDK.

I was trying to connect to my HP windows laptop via BT. It shows paired, but won't connect.
I then saw something new on my windows laptop that says Block Rocker Max under audio. IdK.
In the end I transfered files. But don't know if it was through that. I think it was via my wi fi.

New here, although I got my first Apple Performa in the mid 1990s.

I just got a replacement ( OEM ) mini ( the first one appeared to have GPU issues...wherein the white backgrounds had a bunch of fine but visible vertical lines all over the screen ). I verified it wasn't my monitor by connecting my M1 MBP and the whites were clean!

This new one ( also updated to 11.3 Beta (20E5186e) ) will not connect to my BT Apple mouse, keyboard, or speakers after waking up ( ~ 8-10 hrs ) or a reboot! The first one would connect right away!

Now, I have to plug in my Logitech K800 ( USB ) + MX mouse to login, and reconnect the BT devices .. Also, my AW doesn't unlock the device as it did on the previous mini... UGH!

Hoping this is a software issue with the current beta, and not hardware related. I've submitted the feedback to Apple!

I just registered to respond to this thread.

M1 MBP 13", my audio drops out every 1-2 minutes for a moment or two then it comes back. This happens during phone calls, remote meeting apps like Zoom and Teams, and when streaming music on Spotify.

I've tested my Bose QC35's, Jaybird Vista's, Sony WH-1000XM4's, and Bose NC 700's -- all experience the same issue.

When connecting those headphones to my iPhone, they all perform flawlessly, for hours and hours without a single hiccup, but on my MBP13" it's a constant issue, dropping out dozens of times an hour.

None of the recent updates have resolved the issue, and nothing i've done has improved the situation.

Edit: Forgot to mention, when i disconnect my Magic Trackpad 2 the issue seems to alleviate somewhat, but the audio still drops out, albiet a little less often, but still far too many times per hour.

I have M1 Mini and audio / BT accessory dropouts happen still with Big Sur 11.5 beta 1. Had issues with 11.4 RC so decided to test if there is any improvements with 11.5 - there wasn't...
