So far, the laggy bluetooth issue hasn't occurred on a new iMac (nor an M1 Air) which means its just the Mini which has exhibited those issues for me.

Apple Watch remote for M1 Mac Mini (Music app Big Sur 11.4) stopped working after MacOS upgrade. Watch still controls Intel iMac 27 (Music app 2017 Catalina).

Just picked up an m1 Mac mini and it's having the Magic Mouse connection drop issues. No issues with the keyboard though. Using a spare Logitech g305 I had till it gets fixed.

I was considering getting a Magic Mouse 2, but reading this thread it seems to have the same issue.

I have no issues with the MM2 or magic keyboard. I did when the mini was first released

I'm also having issues with my mouse "stuttering" when connected via Bluetooth. M1 Mac Mini. Logitech MX Master 3. If I use my Logitech M570 with the USB RF receiver instead it works without issue.

I also am having occasional issues with Apple Watch unlock, e.g. "wireless connection too weak for Apple Watch to unlock this Mac"
Same here, for the past few weeks. Any workarounds found?

Two workarounds;
1. don’t use Bluetooth devices
2. return the mini until Apple decides to use an enclosure that isn’t well documented as being complete trash for Bluetooth connectivity
I'm also inclined to think Mini has inherent design flaw that prevents BT from working properly...

I wonder has anyone tested M1 Mini with Monterey if there are any improvements?

I did. Until today I was using only Apple accessories like the trackpad, magic mause. But today I bought Logitech MX Master 3 for Mac and MX Keys for mac. It's a nightmare. Connection losing is one thing, but guys - even Logitech app can't see both of its products or none of them... you have to reset every device from time to time and personalisation you once did is gone in a while.

Thats weird. My Logitech M535 mouse works perfectly well on an M1BA, but I don't use the Logitech app.

That's why I switchd to Apple mouse and keyboard.
My old Logitech mobile mouse works also well but the MX mouse/keyboard not.

I think the Bluetooth issue will not be fixed because it's a hardware issue.

What I found through the years that if two different versions of BlueTooth don’t speak well with lesser versions! This happened sense the release of Bluetooth back in the day, problems speaking to newer versions on Bluetooth!

Actually, my issue (which I shoulda specified) is with the Apple watch no longer connecting with sufficient oomph to unlock my laptop (although having enough to connect and say it doesn't have enough to unlock the laptop). It connects fine, but not really?

Since running Monterey beta 3 (now at beta 4) I have not been having any problems with either Apple MM 2 or with Apple wireless extended keyboard.

And... with 11.52 update, BT works again on M1 Mac mini.
I can control music app from Apple Watch.
Mac functionality is indistinguishable from magic!

With Monterey I haven't had any issues with MS Teams and AirPods Pro for about the week I've been using it. Bluetooth keyboard (Magic Keyboard with TouchID) has gone crazy once and I needed to switch the keyboard off and back on again - but no BT audio problems which was the biggest issue I had with Big Sur.

MBP M1 2020 MacOS 11.6 - still having this random bluetooth mouse disconnect bug with my MX Master 3 for Mac. It's driving me insane. Had about 6 drop-outs in the last hour. Yet, my Windows 10 PC (sitting next to the Mac) uses the same mouse and has had zero issues in the last year. I really really hope Monterey finally fixes this. :(

Monterey has definitely been much better with BT. I haven't used my MX Master with BT but I have Magic Keyboard and Trackpad + Airpods and issues have been very rare since I upgraded to Monterey betas.

No issues for me on M1 Mini or M1 Max MBP. I don't use any BT except for AirPods 2nd Gen and now AirPods 3rd Gen. Both work without issue and give great range honestly. No stutters.

Resetting SMC seems to have helped for now on my MacMini. (turn off and unplug for 30 seconds)
I didn't think Mac mini M1 (Apple Silicon) had SMC!
SMC is available only on Intel-based Mac mini's, which means you do not have to bother about resetting it on your M1-powered Mac mini M1.

You can do a **** Reinstall MacOS which fixes most problems without loosing files, data or apps.
My bluetooth mouse problems were fixed by Reinstall MacOS.

Turn off the computer, and then press and hold the power button. When the Apple logo first appears, you'll see text just below it letting you know to continue holding it in to access startup options. Keep pressing the button for about 5 seconds until the text switches to "Loading startup options." Next, click Options > Continue.

Select a user with administrator privileges and enter the account password when asked.

You have several options in recovery mode to troubleshoot and diagnose your Mac.

The new recovery tool gives you a few options

After signing into a user account, you'll see a partial list of recovery options.

Restore from Time Machine: Use this option if you want to restore your Mac from a previous Time Machine backup. This is helpful if you've lost a bunch of files, changed settings, or installed an app that's caused severe issues with your Mac.

**** Reinstall MacOS: If you're having issues with MacOS, you can try this option to reinstall the latest version of MacOS without deleting any of your files or losing any data.

Safari: You can use Apple's browser to search and troubleshoot how to fix your Mac.

Disk Utility: The tool you'll use to repair, troubleshoot or erase your hard drive.

In the menu bar at the top of the screen you'll also have access to other apps and tools like Terminal, Share Disk and Startup Security Utility.

Resetting your Mac to a factory-like state shouldn't take too long.

Since upgrading my M1 Air to Monterey my Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad seem to be a lot more stuttery than they were before ? Will just randomly sputter across the screen every so often, never disconnecting but just a quick stutter.

Same here. 2019 MBP16. So annoying when listening to music. It destroys my ears.
