I've got a NEC MultiSync PA271W-BK-SV running at 2560x1440. I am using the displayport cable into a displayport to mini displayport adaptor into the mini.

So far so good :)

HP LED 2311x works great with the Mac Mini Server and Non-Server. There was one issue in that by the default the 2311x has overscan enabled by default. This causes the screen to look blurry and of course the screen was pushed out beyond the borders. Once I turned this feature off on the monitor, it looks great. Very clean and crisp text and pictures and video look great. This is also a matte display as I don't really care for glossy.

Apple not compatible with itself

I also have a Mac Mini 2011 i5 AMD - and it has compatibility issues with the Apple 24" LED Cinema Display - screen flicker.

Here's to the crazy ones - Apple is no longer compatible with Apple.

:(

I returned a Mac Mini 2011 with i7 and AMD for a full refund because of the incompatibility with the 24'' ACD. Pretty 'brave' to release a computer that is not compatible with Apple hardware. Is the new mantra 'sell first, fix it sometime later'? 10.7.1 did not resolve the issues.

LG IPS231P-BN Works great using a non apple Mini Displayport to DVI Cable

.

LG displays are not compatible with the new minis.

I have tested the i5 2.3g , i5 2.5g Mac minis with the LG 32ld450, 32lv3510 TVs and a LG monitor, a Dell monitor.
When I connect a display to the mini's HDMI port via a HDMI cable, the image quality is bad.
It's not sharp, not clear. Overall it's unusable.
When a display is connected to the thunderbolt port using a mini-dp to dvi adapter, it's good, normal.
But whe I connect two displays at the same time(one to the HDMI, the other to the thunderbolt),
the mouse cursor movement become very laggy, sluggish, and jumpy. So I can't use dual displays which I should use.
I have been using these TVs and monitors with a late 2009 Mac mini with no problems at all.
I think a Dell monitor works well with the new mini, but LGs don't.

Dell 2407WFP with either the included HDMI/DVI adapter or a straight HDMI to DVI cable (Single DVI, not the dual DVI) works just fine.

One DVI/DVI cable connected to the Adapter gave me display issues, so that was a cable problem not a compatability issue.

I'm running dual 2209WAs on my new mini. I have a problem though.

Both monitors seem to work just fine, but I run with one in landscape mode (primary monitor) and the other in portrait mode (secondary monitor). Every time I reboot the computer, the main monitor is rotated sideways and the secondary monitor is blank. I have to go back into system prefs and fix it. Is it a Lion bug, or something having to do with the mini's display outputs?

Maybe if someone here has dual monitors they can try it out.

there is an over scan/under scan option that can be adjusted. That might do the trick.

Do look for that. I hit that problem with an AOC V22+, with a 2007 Mini, using a VGA cable, and was able to solve it in the System Preferences/Display setting by checking the "Overscan" box. It's still checked, I'm now using a HDMI cable, still working.

I think I recall some confusion because in the AOC menus, only when set for a VGA, there is also an overscan setting there -- that's not available when using HDMI.

When my 2011 Mini arrives I'll probably face this problem again

2008 40" Sharp Aquos here in Japan. Would be interested in this as well. I suppose I could ask the guys at Yodobashi Camera to bring the MM to the TV dept and try it out :D

Anyone know if its compatible with the Acer 203H? I don't wanna get one and them find out it won't work with my dual display.

Samsung SA300 20" (Brazilian make)

Avoid at all costs. DVI with either Mini Displayport (Thunderbolt) or HDMI adapter flashes like a strobe light or goes black, no matter what resolution is chosen (the Samsung wants 1600x900).

Mini Displayport to VGA works, except monitor may or may not come out of sleep mode. If it does, it takes 20 seconds and about 8 keystrokes. If it doesn't, not even a restart (through ssh or Apple Remote Desktop) will help. The Mini has to be powered down completely and turned back on for the Samsung to see it again.

Crap monitor.

I have mixed feelings about Samsung but I'm happy to report that my Samsung Plasma (PS 50 C7000 YF) is working perfectly with my 2011 Mac Mini (base model) through HDMI.
