Mac Mini Wishlist

New product, not a pimped Mini.

I like the mini where it is. I think there should be a Mac tower thats not a Pro - but I know that wont happen any time soon (maybe ever).

I think you're spot on there... the Mac Mini is Apple's entry level Mac. All these wish-list items are moving it out of this category. (deidicated GPU would be great, but that's the realm of the MacBookPro, not the MacBook where most of its components come from.)

A whole new product is needed. I see it as this:

• 2x Quad processors (I'll settle for 2x dual Core processors)
• 2x Harddrives
• Desktop components to reduce costs and improve FSB and RAM costs
• Up to 16 GIGs RAM support
• 2x slots (one already used by dedicated graphics card, one spare)
• No built in monitors
• Single SuperDrive bay
• Lots of Firewire & USB ports on several busses (can one of those USB be at the front?)

I only need HDMI output and Bluray capabilities to make Macmini the best media center. Some more memory up to 8GB is welcome too.
