Promotion Studio display confirmed.
it supports two 8k@60Hz as of the thunderbolt 5 spec, that sounds like one 8k@120Hz to meDoes it support 8K 120Hz display(s)? I can't find it in the specs.
3x Thunderbolt 5 for M4 Pro.So in actuality it's only 3 thunderbolt ports
2.1What version of HDMI???m I can´t believe they don´t specify that.
Nice! I wish I had something useful to transfer at that speed
Sounds logical, but not sure that's how it works.it supports two 8k@60Hz as of the thunderbolt 5 spec, that sounds like one 8k@120Hz to me![]()
The power button is on the bottomI see that no one has noticed this or asked about it - but how the **** are you supposed to turn it on? I do not see any power buttons?
my new plex server. excellent.. ordered and hopefully it runs awesome
If you run 3 displays on the base model, they are limited to 60hz each. Not sure about the Pro model.does it support 2-lg 5k display at 60hz and 1-4k display at 120hz?
You NEED it!The new Mac mini looks really compelling. I want to justify a need to buy one. 😆
It will be…there are users that want an M4 Max/M4 Ultra desktop. We still have yet to see the M4 Max until tomorrow and a MacBook Pro still cannot unleash every bit of power that a Mac Studio can. This makes me wonder if the Studio is even going to continue to be a "thing"
Hoping OWC updates OWC MiniStack STX to Thunderbolt 5. TB 5 will have enough bandwidth to support a fast SSD boot drive plus additional IO. The current MiniStack STX is TB 4 and to make everything work the SSD is limited to a single PCIe lane which constricts SSD speeds considerably.Still 256gb base sadly. At least Thunderbolt 5 should make external boot drives faster than ever.
