Mac rumors Halo group

Anyone interested in one tonight at 7pm EDT? 6pm CDT?
If so, lancestraz, could you host it?

Since nobody replied, I doubt anyone is coming, but I'll keep the server up for at least a half hour.

Maybe we can get a xfire MacRumors???

Haven't been on macrumors for a while so didn't know people were playing...Sorry.

Maybe we can all get on Xfire. Just installed xblaze which works via Adium on my Mac Book Pro. There is a step-by-step procedure

Took me a while, but was able to chat with PC Halo players on Xfire. This might be more organized for us Macrumors Halo group?? I'm on xfire (xblaze) as hoamaxmus.

Xfire sounds cool--and I use my iChat status to indicate what I'm playing or hosting or ready to play.

Anyone up for Halo tonight? I'll be available on and off.
 
Guess iChat will work, too. I totally forgot about that. Was too excited to get xfire to work.

I might be on late tonight (11 pm Pacific).
 
11 Pacific (8 Eastern) sounds good to me. Let's say 11, and be prepared for people to join a little late?

I'll invite my clan as well.

We do need a host, though--I could host for a while but I can't commit to a long time and I hate to kick people off.
 
I can host tonight from 8pm eastern to around 10pm eastern.

The name will still be "Macrumors Halo Group" and the password is still "arn".
 
can't make it during that time. But will try to be on at 11 pm. I'll check the forum that time to see which server people are on.

11pm eastern or pacific?

If more people can come latter, I can serve from 10pm to midnight (eastern time).
Or another time. Just no more than two hours.
 
OK, let's be real clear :) I was confused too, not knowing which time zone Maxmus meant.

Game time Friday May 4:

5pm to 7pm Pacific
8pm to 10pm Eastern

How's that work? :) And I might be able to host myself after the end, but I'm not promising.

OK, that's fine.
All these time-zones are confusing. :eek:

I'll post here when I start the server. (five hours, nine minutes, from this post)
 
Opps!!! Sorry for the confusion! Those time zones works great for me. I'll check the forum before going on the server.
 
And of course I'm the only one who lives in the Central time zone.:rolleyes:

I might come, haven't felt much like playing Halo these past few days.

Projects, end of school finals, other personal stuff....it's stressful.:(

But maybe a good game of lance pwning my ass is just what I need.:p
 
God I wish I could play. I have the game, just not a good enough computer to run it. (my brother does *shake fist*) Curse you 1GHz eMac, CURSE YOU!!!!!!!!! :mad: (And you're not the only one who is Central Cassie ;))
 
My eMac 700 Mhz running Panther plays it :) 640x480, min detail. It bogs down sometimes, but can still be fun.

Can King of the Hill be played in teams? KoTH in UT 2004 (via Chaos) is really fun--and even more fun with teams.

I've always wanted to try KoTH in Halo.

Yes, Team KoTH is possible in Halo (as well as in Myth and Marathon, in case you are a really hardcore Bungie fan).
 
Sweet :) Team KoTH (hill not moving) gets my vote then... or whatever you guys like to play :)
