Thanks-I got on a couple of times to check it out-seems like a nice server with a good rotation.

Twistedlegato, do you want to try the IDIC server(idic.nuclearfallout.net)tomorrow night instead of hosting it yourself?

We have a dedicated server for halo hosted through nuclearfallout (as well as UT2004 and CS: S). Feel free to play on our Halo server anytime you want as we rarely play Halo anymore so it's empty most of the time (it's up 24/7). It's a 16 player public dedicated server, hosted in San Jose, Ca, and has a fairly large map cycle rotation -- several maps of team based slayer and CTF, and a couple of king of the hill and race.

The server is named IDIC and has a direct IP of idic.nuclearfallout.net . I can change the map cycle and the gametypes if you wish (i.e. currently there are no tanks or shees on any of the maps in the cycle).

Sign me up as a "maybe" for Tuesday, but I've notified my Apple Corps clan-mates and it looks like some of them can make it.
 
I would rather one of us host it, so we can choose what we want, and we can have a password on it to only alow people in our MR group join.

So lancestraz can you serve for us?

Ok post here once you open the sever at 7:30PM Eastern

And be sure to bring in ghosts and banshee and hogs and scorpions at max amount with all human weapons, and instant respawn with friednly fire turned OFF.

i lost my full copy of halo, will i still be able to play if i only have the demo, or should i just shell out the 30 bucks for a new copy (which ive been meaning to do for quiet some time now)

Go ahead and shell out the money and buy the new universal binary(if you have an intel mac). It's not worth it to try to get it to work without your full copy.

To do that, you will need your CD key from the back of the Halo manual. I don't THINK you will need your actual orginal CD. So if you lost the disc but not the CD key, the $5 UB might be a good way to go.
