Ordered mine on June 27th estimated delivery July 28 - Aug 4th. Already shipped but UPS says delayed with delivery date pending sitting in Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong. Fingers crossed it gets on a plane soon and comes earlier than expected!

Max 10 CPU 32 GPU 64GB and a 1TB SSD.

first apple hardware purchase besides an OG click wheel iPod when they first came out. Rather excited to get it!
You ordered 1 week ago? And it's already shipped? Sounds like mine should ship soon too! I purchased on the 1st. Still processing?

I ordered also last week (July 28th), same spec than @COMTB and still procesing. I guess it depends where it will shipped. Seems like Asia, Australia and USA have more priority than EU. Or at least Spain.

Departed Hong Kong today UPS says ill have it Wed July 6th, apple says Thursday the 7th. Either way I’m happily surprised. Mine shipped five days after ordering but I probably ordered a spec they had available.

I was rather surprised when I received the shipment notification a few days after ordering. Hopefully yours ships soon!

I was part of a group of 11 from the US, the UK and the EU who ordered the same configuration. All of the computers were delivered over a three day period.
Maybe there are not many orders with my config at the moment, who knows. Nevertheless, I ordered 6 days ago and my estimated delivery windows is in mid august, so waiting game is on.

Those delivery estimates are highly conservative and reflect the fact that Apple is a lot more interested in delivering a computer early than delivering it late. Read a few pages of this thread and that will become apparent. Unless you've ordered a loaded Ultra, about which delivery seems still to be somewhat unpredictable, it's highly likely that you'll get your computer well before mid-August.

I saw one pop up in my local Apple Store this morning so I canceled my pending order and placed that for 2 hour deliver. So excited. Then it was marked delivered and wasn't here. I have ring doorbells and there was nobody there so the driver either took it for himself or delivered it somewhere else. Apple opened an investigation into it so now I get to wait for that and see what happens.

Anyone ever have this kind of situation? What kind of timeline can I expect here til they issue me a new one (assuming it is in stock still).

I'm so sorry that happened to you. I'm sure Apple will take care of you here.

Mine has left HK today after being delayed there for three days because of the bad weather. UPS are saying it’ll be here on Wednesday though, which is pretty impressive! (Three days in HK, one extra day to get here)

I ordered mine on June 24. Delivery window was 11-18 August. It still is on Apple’s site, despite the fact that it’s shipped and due to be delivered on Wednesday.

I think the Covid restrictions being lifted in China recently have gotten things moving again, but they are maybe reluctant to over promise and under deliver yet.

Well my particular interest is that I order the exact same specs!! Only 4 days after you. I'd say next week is looking likely for me. Way better than the beginning of August! Either way I think I'll call it a month early bday present to myself :)

PS my order details updated last night to arrive "2 day earlier" than initially. I'll probably get shipping notifications soon enough. Current ETA is 27th July. But I think the above comment is right - they are reluctant to overpromise.

Same here, my delivery windows updated to 10 days earlier than the original window. Finger crossed, I have a lot of work and my mbp 15" 2017 is falling apart 😭

Officially out for delivery today both on Apple's site and UPS. I'm blown away because I've had so many issues getting things delivered from UPS. Granted those were all 77+lb orders but still they would just sit at my local facility for days "preparing for delivery" or "delayed for X reason" where X is complete BS (due to weather when it was sunny and beautiful). Fingers crossed you get your tracking soon!

Still going slow here. As of yesterday it was due to arrive tomorrow… it made it as far as Germany by early this morning, but it hasn’t gotten any further in about 28 hours, and UPS have just rescheduled for a Thursday delivery…

Just ordered:

Mac Studio M1 Max
64 GB
2 TB

Coming from 2011 27in iMac (upgraded 24 GB RAM, 2 TB SSD internal HD). Honestly, my current iMac is still going strong, but I can't run the current Mac OS, can't run the current version of Logic, and other software is deprecating. So I guess it's time. I feel like my current iMac still has some life though, so thinking about how to keep it useful or selling it.

Estimated delivery: July 27-Aug 3. I could have purchased the same setup and got it in 2 days through B&H, but I qualify for the edu discount through Apple, so it's worth $300 to wait a couple weeks. I think..

The last couple of days were a bit hard knowing it was sitting somewhere near by, but as @renderboi posted these machines are well worth the wait. And it beat the start of Apple’s delivery window by two days, despite the hold-up in my local region.

The effortless responsiveness of this thing is unbelievable, and that it does this with such low power consumption is nuts :)

As well, I can confirm there‘s no whine with my one. I’ve been following two of the threads about this issue. When I bring my head within 2.5 feet/80cm I can hear the fans - a mild ‘whoosh’ - but beyond this and at my seated position (about 1.2m) it’s silent. My (quiet) external drive bay is much louder.

Good luck to all of you still waiting, especially those suffering hold-ups like @johngordon or mishaps like @LarrySW …

Update on this for anyone who wonders: Apple is working on getting me a replacement though their stock is a little short right now as we all know. I'm just glad progress is being made.
