Base Max model with 2 TB here. Ordered March 10 with a delivery estimate of April 8-15.

Apple Card charged and Apple Account Balance deducted at 3:54am Eastern this morning. I'm still seeing "Processing" as the status, though.

Anyone else seen this? (Card charged, but status still processing?) If so, how long did it take to move to "Preparing to Ship"?

Card charged morning of 24 March. Status changed to Preparing to Ship this morning. So four days between card being charged and status moving to "Preparing to Ship".

Also as a quick aside: I was able to get a Studio Display at my local Apple Store, so I called to remove that from the order. The rep on the phone upgraded the Mac Studio to Express Shipping, which I'm sure will get it here zero days faster, but nice of him to do it.

I just got off the phone with apple, they said that despite DHL not saying anything they see that the package has cleared customs and should arrive tomorrow… we’ll see 🤞

She told me to watch the tracking page tonight around 9PM so all you EU fellows might want to do the same
Oh and she also told me this is been happening a lot recently (No doubt due to the shutdowns) and that others have “received their packages on the promised day despite the lack of updates”, I don’t know if she was just telling me what I wanted to hear but that’s what I’ve been told.

Also I should note I placed my order thru Apple Business which has a dedicated support line which might or might not be better informed than the regular one?

I don't know why she'd say something like this . how we're supposed to handle this situation?
I took a day off from work because apple website is still telling me that my Studio is coming today. ( it won't, it's the middle of the afternoon now. I took a day off for nothing).

If DHL somehow shows up unannounced when I'm not home, without any tracking updtates whatsoever, how am i supposed to know where my package will end up?

Shanghai-stuck and UPS just updated my delivery from 28th to 31st. No new scan or anything.
Same here except showing delivery on the 30th. I doubt it will happen. Will probably be lucky if I see it sometime next week after the lockdown ends.

Mine is supposedly coming tomorrow, and it has been in Shanghai since the 26th. The only thing I can think of is something I observed in the past, where a bulk shipment arrives at the Louisville hub, and that is where they get their "first" U.S. scan, and that is when all the previous points (ANC, etc.) get displayed.

Well she’s speaking for the people she has personally checked the order for, not all of Europe. Assuming she’s even telling the truth of course

I’m not sure understand the other issue tho, if a courier arrives when you’re not home they will leave a card in your mailbox and you can call them to reschedule a delivery or to hold it at a local center and pick it up yourself at your convenience.
I’ve done it a lot of times back when I used to work a 9 to 5, it’s never been more than a minor inconvenience

Sorry to hear about your lousy experience tho :/ I’ve been there before

You're in the same group as a few of us here. We're at the point now where it should already be in the air if we're going to get it tomorrow, so that's pretty unlikely unless we see some past scans show up in our tracking info.

Based on the wait times others have seen, I'd guess Thursday at this point. If it moves soon and doesn't sit long in Anchorage, it'll end up in Louisville too late for tomorrow but should make Wednesday.

Here's hoping for good news for the 3/26 10:15 group!

Yeah, I'm not expecting tomorrow. I'll be happy if it comes by Thursday considering I was initially April 6-13. It would be a nice surprise if it did!

Just chiming in as well. Apple quotes a delivery date of April 4. UPS quotes a delivery date of March 29. There's been no updates since March 26 at 10:15pm where the last status is "On the Way" Shanghai, China.

Exact same situation here. Apple says will be delivered by April 4th. UPS says tomorrow by 7pm. Nothing on the progress tab since a report that it arrived in Shanghai on 3/26.

I'm in the same March 26th, 10:15pm Shanghai group. My delivery date according to UPS is for tomorrow, March 29th. Pretty sure that is not going to happen as our Mac Studios still at Shanghai. UPS is not showing any scheduled flights living Shanghai but there was an UPS flight that left Shanghai 3 hours ago in route to Japan/Anchorage/Luisville-KY so most definitely there is movement but for some weird reason there are not scheduled flights until they depart from Shanghai which makes things even more complicated to track. At this point, our Mac Studios stuck in Shanghai since the 26th, could depart any time and we will know only when when we see the departure scam showing up in our UPS tracking.

Looks like Shanghai is entering a phased lock down, where half of the city is on lockdown for 5 days followed by the other half. I guess April 4 is more realistic. That's fine, it is what it is. March 29 just got my hopes up about finally completing my desk set up here sooner than later!

I wouldn't be so sure. Same thing happened with my Macbook Pro back in December. Was seemingly stuck in Shanghai and then it must have reached a central processing facility in the U.S. and a flurry of progress points updated and it ended up arriving the day it was supposed to according to UPS. Crossing my fingers it's a repeat of that again.

Just chiming in to say that I’m in that “3/26 10:15” group (maybe we should get T-shirts). UPS is still showing a delivery estimate of Wednesday, 3/30, but that seems more and more unlikely with each passing hour. Apple is estimating delivery on Monday, April 4.

And my Studio Display still shows as processing.

I should have been in that thread! I bought a MBP, but for my fiancé :)
I think these threads will be heavy with activity until at least the supply chain catches up with orders and we can go back to the old days of 2019 when most Apple shipments were much faster.

I remember back in the day that a package would scan in China one day and would arrive at your doorstep the next day. Those were the days!
