Whoever is in charge of updating the delivery dates system at UPS must be smoking something really bad!!! UPS91 flight is scheduled to arrive at Louisville by March 30th at 11:20 am. Well I just got an update in my delivery date from March 31st down to March 30th LOL 😂 Not funny enough delivery time is from 10:15 am to 2:15 pm so I’m getting my Mac Studio even before the plain landing 🤣

I feel like I just read this in a fan noise thread. 🤣

Mine also hopped forward to Wednesday. I guess we're going to have to look for in-air refueling tankers on flightaware now.

Mine still says delivery today between noon and 2pm. They have long since missed that window. Looking good for tomorrow I think.

Ditto. Just got an email that it is coming tomorrow instead of Thursday. My only guess is that it is not UPS91 and another flight that will be leaving soon after arriving in Anchorage.

Layover in Anchorage for flight UPS91 is only 2.5 hours. Changing planes would take more than that.

I'm also frustrated waiting on a Mac Studio and Studio Display that will probably arrive at least one week apart. But, to be fair, there's only so much Apple can do. I suppose they could ask if buyers would prefer to get all ordered items at the same time, but that's more complicated logistically. Also, China is in the midst of a partial COVID lockdown, and supply chains remain constrained worldwide.

My main complaint is the inaccurate tracking information from UPS, which says my computer will be here tomorrow even though it hasn't yet left China. :)
I told them "why not put them in the same box"

Yeah, that is true. Not sure how we are going to get them tomorrow when the plane lands in Louisville at 11 am EDT. It looks like UPS false hope again. I'll be shocked if I get it on Wed.

Also just noticed that my departure time from Shanghai went from 3:32 am to 3:59 am and Incheon from 6:32 am to 8:08 am 😳

Got departure scan from Anchorage. Not sure which of the 5 flights it is on but any of them should get to Louisville in time to make the flight to Minneapolis.
Same here. Looks like UPS109 arriving in Louisville in 4 hours at 1220et. Should be able to get to Michigan tomorrow. Interesting my delivery still shows today.

My Mac Studio arrived! Currently setting everything up and dreading the restore time.

I probably should’ve cleaned up my desk and cable box, everything is quite dusty for my new toys.

I'm planing on doing a fresh install. I don't want to bring all the 5 years crap I have in my iMac to the Studio. Also, all my work files are in external drives and Synology NAS so basically only need to install software/apps in the Studio and be done.

I'm transferring. It's so fast it will blast through all my crap and tow it along like a Model S pulling a trash can

Did you guys noticed we got dual departure scans from Incheon?

Never mind, second departure scan is because it was clearing customs ;)

Personally, setting everything back up to be in sync with my other Macs and devices is a chore and very time consuming.

About two or three hours to restore over a terabyte of data. Not so bad!

@Joekawasaki Yeah, Anchorage seems to be the new Shanghai. Mine arrived the same flight as yours and you’re right, no indication of a departure scan. The last flight of the day departed for Louisville 3:10 PM local time.

This… is… so… excruciating….
Mine just said it left Incheon, and UPS changed the delivery date from the 31st to the 30th (tomorrow). Don't think so...

Is there anyone in this thread who has a dual screen setup? Anyone went for two studio displays?
I have two Studio Displays. My iMac has been off to the side on a little table since setting these up on 3/18. I currently use them with my work computer (2018 Macbook Pro 15"). Since there's no KVM switches or similar for thunderbolt 3 to toggle between work and home (home will be Mac Studio), I picked up an Anker thunderbolt hub to cut down my cable unplugging/plugging-in to just one wire. So far, so good, having just set that up a few moments ago.

Check out some posts here for dual studio display folks:

(Loopback has been well worth the $100 or whatever so far to use both monitor's speakers in the grand scheme of things).

Mine arrived today (Ultra, 128GB / 4TB / 32C GPU). Ordered ~20 mins after event announcement. Original window was March 30-April 5, so it arrived a day early even with the Shanghai delay last week.
