Setting up my new Studio only to find out that the ultra widescreen monitor I got for it has a damaged screen.

I'm so sorry my friend. I got my second LG 32UN880-B like 10 days ago but the first thing I did was taking it out of the box and tested it with my MBP. Proved that all was fine and put it back in the box. :) I didn't want any surprises during the Mac Studio setup.... Fortunately pretty sure you are in the return window still, though.

Same here. Who knows when we might get a new delivery date. 🤷🏻‍♂️
I also ordered a Studio Display that isn’t supposed to arrive until April 14 at the earliest, so I don’t mind if my Mac Studio is delayed. But as I said before, I need an accurate delivery window so I can make sure someone will be home. It’s so easy to drive by and steal the package from the porch. TBH, I prefer picking up my Apple products at the store, even if they’re BTO, but that wasn’t an option.

I think there are a few of us in the same boat. My Studio has also just been hanging out in Shenzen since 12:20am on 03/29.

Either they’ve been sat in a depot due to a lockdown or the tracking info hasn’t updated I guess?

Looks like UPS is trying to make things up for all the delays with the Mac Studios deliveries. My Mac Studio is already in UPS2774 flight from Louisville to Houston ;)

Any chance you can identify any UPS flights from Louisville to the SF Bay Area?

I ordered my MS on March 19th with tentative delivery June 8 - 22. The order is still being processed. I received a message that my credit card was charged today. The delivery dates have not changed and the order is still processing. I thought that the card is not charged until the order was preparing to ship, closer to the date of shipping. What is the experience of other purchasers? Is this the typical procedure?

Same boat. Charged CC today, delivery still marked 4/20-27. Perhaps it will trickle down once the system realizes the payment going through. In the past, the CC charge presaged the shipping.

That's what I'm fearing. Stuck in a depot before Shanghai since they're on lockdown or the tracking info just hasn't updated.

I got 'charged' yesterday too ... called Apple and was told that they get a preauthorization and that the card hasn't actually been charged yet. it will show as pending until the card is charged which will happen around the time it is actually shipped. if it's more than 7 days, I think it is submitted again. my display, which has an earlier estimated delivery date, hasn't had any credit card activity. as always, YMMV.

Well that sucks. My friend's Studio was due to arrive last week, but UPS lost it. So Apple reordered it for him, but now the due date is May. 😧 Hopefully that date is not accurate, considering the scenario.

that's a good case for sending an email to tim cook to expedite!

Well, he said the Apple agent claimed they already expedite such re-orders for lost items, but who knows if that is true or not.

I wonder if they expedite the order or the delivery… the latter being all well but if your order is scheduled to be built in 10 weeks, it doesn’t really help

Mine says it's going to arrive tomorrow. I'm in California. It says it's in Kentucky. Seems more like Friday, but maybe they'll pull it off!

Yes, the activity record on my bank card shows that the charge is pending. As above, delivery is predicted in the June 8 - 22 range. I will keep an eye on the pending activity and see when the charge goes through and post a follow-up.

This could be by far the most weird UPS shipment I have ever deal with. I have no idea why UPS decided to ship my Studio to Dallas instead of Houston. UPS have two flights to Houston, one at 5 pm and another at 3:10 am. Any of those would have get me the Studio in time for delivery tomorrow but instead they sent it with the 4:35 pm flight to Dallas so I thought they would fly it from Dallas to Houston with the UPS 3:40 am flight from Dallas to Houston. To my surprise the Studio departed Dallas at 7:09 pm presumably by truck because there were no UPS flights at that time departing Dallas. I know it’s still going to arrive in time to Houston because it’s only 240 miles trip but why they are making things more complicated? I just hope they didn’t ship it to a wrong UPS final destination !!!

Similar stuff here. I kept watching the flight to Charlotte, but then mine turned up in Knoxville, presumably by truck. That's a three-hour drive away from here with plenty of time, but I'd still like to see a departure scan before I go to bed.

I got the departure scan at 7:09 pm but still not going to bed in peace until I see the arrival scan in Houston which most likely won’t happen until at least mid night. It’s also a 3 H 30 mins drive from Dallas to Houston so after 10:30 pm should be showing up, hopefully 🙏

Those of you that have ordered the 64 core gpu… how are you justifying your purchase assuming that money is mostly not a factor? Does your workload warrant it, or are you just wanting to max it out because you can?

My studio shipment has not updated since "picked up" by DHL in Shenzhen March 23. It is a bit frustrating to check every day with no update. I did phone Apple Australia yesterday and they said, it should move in a day or two, but they have no real information about the shipment.

For any new orders now, it seems the delivery is only in May. This is from Singapore. Is it the same at other part of the world?

Singapore is quite lucky. Orders for any BTO Ultra from Australia - have a 10-12 weeks waiting period....
