I received my mac studio this afternoon. Yay 😍
It’s blazing fast compared to my intel MacBook pro.
Although it’s true that the fans are audible, not annoying at all for me, it’s very light.
I can’t wait for day off to work on it.

I’d be OK with that if there wasn’t so much ambiguity in delivery dates and times. That makes it tough to arrange for someone to be available to accept the package.They say ignorance is bliss. Our ability to track our shipments put us through the wringer. We should just kick back, relax, close our tracking apps and wait patiently. But do we? Oh no. We check tracking info every 30 seconds! I can pontificate because my Studio isn't scheduled for delivery until June 1 - June 16.
I know right! I've been in touch with UPS and they've assured me it will be delivered tomorrow but I'm not convinced anymore... Glad you got yours today though 😊
Mine just got the Import Scan at Louisville and delivery updated to Thursday March 31st.
Same here. Departed Shenzen 3/29/22 at 10:50PM and no updates since then. UPS was still saying delivery today up until a few hours ago 😂😂Anyone else in this same boat?
I also did the 2 hour delivery window confirmation from 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm so I have plenty time tomorrow morning to work on my desk cable management, dual monitors, Ergotron LX mounts, studio monitors, audio interfaces, etc.....
Updates seem to be pretty inconsistent atm. I guess due to human error? I got the same import scans at Louisville today but my delivery time still says its on track for 2:45 at the latest, nearly 30 minutes ago lol. It likely wont update until tonight at 8pm.
I'm in the same boat. Mine departed Shenzhen 3/29/22 at 12:20 AM and hasn't been heard from since. UPS showed delivery today until a few hours ago. Now a delivery date is pending.

Mine left Louisville after the delivery window UPS had for me, and then it changed to tomorrow. I really have to wonder just what kind of problems they're having with their systems!I made a comment a couple days ago, but it's pretty clear that they simply have a matrix with an estimate between pairs of places (in zones), and it looks up the corresponding pairing at specific scan points. Everyone's estimates are "wrong" in the same pattern, so it's clear that there's nothing adaptive or AI or even moderately sophisticated (at the package level).Too late to be delivered today unfortunately.
If we got one of their execs in a room, I think they'd say that (a) no one cares enough to pay more (in the aggregate) so it's not worth the cost of more sophisticated estimates, (b) you can pay more for higher levels of service (leaving aside that Apple decides on that in our specific cases) if you really care about when it's delivered, and (c) they have some kind of metric showing that their existing estimates minimize total prediction error for that class of easy-to-compute (at scale) algorithm.
Looks like UPS is trying to make things up for all the delays with the Mac Studios deliveries. My Mac Studio is already in UPS2774 flight from Louisville to Houston
