I ordered as a kickstarter a everyday backpack from Peak Design. This is my second bag from Peak Design and I am really happy with it. Is a very high quality back and it comes with dividers. It can carry my 15" Touch Bar, iPad, iPhone and a lot of other stuff. It can carry camera's, drones, clothes and you name it. Its really comfy. I am so happy with this bag!!

That Tomtoc one is really nice, but it's too big for the new 15". Really frustrating it's taking case makers so long to come out with some specific models for the new MBPs...

Indeed. I have one because it was supposedly made for these new machines. Not so much.

Do you recommend it for school usage? I am worried it will be too big for me.

I recently purchased a refurb 2015 13" MacBook Pro. I wanted a compact carry case but not so compact that it didn't have pockets for the battery charger and other odds and ends. I found the Thule Stravan MacBook Deluxe Attache in my local Fry's store and instantly knew it was the right case for my needs!

Lots of pockets, room for an iPad (or two) and not at all bulky. The perfect carry case, in my humble opinion. Pricey, yes, but you get what you pay for.

This is the best bag! I bought it for my 13" MBP but never had to use it. Pricey but worth it. If anyone on here is interested let me know since I just bought a new 15" MBP. Bag is practically brand new.

Thanks. Looks nice. It's encouraging that someone has posted it fits great for the 2016 15" MBP. I was concerned as the internal dimensions listed for this one are actually smaller than the official specs for the 2016 15":

Tomtoc 14" Internal dimensions: 13.5 x 9.5 x 0.5 in (see description here)

2016 15" MBP dimensions: 13.75 x 9.48 x 0.61 in (see this page, click on 15" model and scroll down to "size and weight")

Makes me feel hesitant still. If anyone else tries the Tomtoc 14" let me know.

I just contacted Incase UK asking when they will release cases for the new MacBook Pro 2016 and had a response that they won't be making any new products?!

Seems strange, anyone else have any news?

Very odd. Their U.S. website says that new products are on the way.

I emailed Incase a while back and yesterday I received this (I put relevant text in bold):

Hello,

We would first like to apologize for the delay in our response. We have been having issues with our Support Email not coming through,. The problem has been corrected, therefore we are responding late. If you have already received an answer to your request please disregard this email.

We are currently working on our new cases and sleeves for the new Macbook Pro.

If you are looking for a 13" sleeve you can use one of our iPad Pro 12.9 Neoprene Classic Sleeves for the 13” Macbook Pro with Touch Bar, as they are a very nice fit.

Keep an eye on our website for product updates or you can sign up for our newsletter and you will be notified when the new cases are here. https://www.incase.com/newsletter/

Cheers,
Incase

Hope this helps.

Can confirm the Tomtoc fits the 13" MBP very well. It isn't, however, very thick neoprene. It's fine if you're carrying it in a backpack or side bag, but it gives no real DROP protection. Bought one as a temporary sleeve until Incase ICONs are released. Not very expensive either.

I received this email a couple of days ago when I inquired about cases for the new MacBook Pro's and why they didn't even acknowledge the new Mac's on their website.

"In terms of the Macbook Pro 15” products, we are given the products at release the same as the consumer and work from this point to design the best solutions possible. We have found compatibility for the 13” and are working on adding more products for the 15” model as well. We will have a product lineup for these in the next 4-6 weeks and would recommend signing up for the Newsletter for the latest updates.

So what do they mean when they say they have found compatibility for the 13"? which sleeve should we get?
I want the TENSEARLITE for a 13"... as they are very tight fit, don't know if I can take one made for an other device or not..

I couldn't tell from the email if they were referring to sleeves, which have a bit of room for play, or hard cases, which have to fit to the mm to work. I'd expect Incase to sell both at some point.
