Does anybody have one of these?
https://www.sfbags.com/collections/shoulder-messenger-bags/products/staad-attache-briefcase

I'm interested in buying it for the late 2016 13-inch, but I'm not entirely convinced by that buckle. Seems like a bit of a hassle. So if anybody has any personal experience with it, I'd love to hear your opinion on that buckle in particular.

Just bought one of these bags due to a recommendation from earlier in this very thread. The bag is extremely high quality. The buckle is a little finicky to close, but opening the bag is extremely quick and easy. If this is your style of bag then I highly recommend it!

Has anyone received the I-blason hard cover for the new MacBooks yet? I have one on order and I'm curious to see how they fit.

I have one on the way. Should be here sometime this week.

Will post a review when I get it.

I just ordered this one from Crumpler. http://www.crumpler.eu/collections/shuttle-delight/shuttle-delight-backpack-15-white-grey

I was looking for something casual for work, since I didn't want anything too elegant, and the Incase backpacks look very ugly for my taste, like with no style.

This one seems well built and padded. We'll see when I get it.

It's 99€.

I have just bought a 2015 15' macbook pro.

Does anybody recommend a good case for it? It is going to sit on my desk so I don't want it without a case incase it gets scratches.

I am crazy for the Cote et Ciel sleeves but the company is not very good in communicating when the new sleeves will come out. They definitely have the thinnest sleeves and nicest colours available.

Do you guys know them?

Really good sleeves. Had the CDG one for my previous MBP. Hope they update them soon. I've ordered the WaterField sleeves which do look similar in the meanwhile :)

Pictures?

I used my iPad Pro 12.9" Icon case on my 13" rMBP-TB, and it slides around a lot. I also found it was dead and very warm after being in my bag. Not sure if it was cause by the sleeve or some other issue, and hasn't happened again, but waiting for a custom sleeve for the new rMBP.

For those of you who don't want zippers and can't stand the sound of velcro, Tom Bihn's Cache sleeves are now in stock for both the 13" and 15" models. They have both vertically and horizontally oriented sleeves.

A plug for the Tom Bihn sleeve. I used one for my older 15" MBP, and now using one for the 2016 15" MBP. Very nice, simple, get's the job done with adequate cushioning (though yes higher cost and shipping costs compared to what's on Amazon).

Thank you for your input. Given how easy it is to open (just pulling the strap), how secured is the buckle? To be honest, most of the reviews out there have already endorsed the build quality but skimmed over the buckle. It (the buckle) looks a bit flimsy, but I think that's a deception. Makes no sense to use a flimsy buckle on a high-quality bag. Indeed the difficulty in closing it is what worries me the most. From the look of it, am I correct in deducing that the more you put into the bag, the harder it is to close? Given how finicky it is to close, I cannot imagine that it'll be any easier if the bag is slightly fuller/rounder.

Snugg cases on Amazon are legit! For $20-25, the only downside is there is very little room to store your charger in the bag as well.

I used the acme made skinny sleeve for my rMB 12" and really liked it. I even got my wife one for her MBA 13". They are advertising one for the "New 13"", which has the same part no. as their 12.9" iPad Pro offering. Just ordered on Amazon, will report back

Edit: this is for my 2016 13" MBP w/ touch bar

I know this thread is for Retina MacBook Pros, but since I can't find a thread for the late 2016 MacBook Pros, I thought I'd ask this here. Due to the dearth of cases for the 2016 MBP, how well would a Retina MacBook Pro or MacBook Air sleeve fit? Incase is having a 50% off everything sale for Cyber Monday, and the one I'm looking at is the Slim Sleeve 13". Has anyone personally tried these on the new MBPs? Thank you.

I purchased this Inatek sleeve for my 13" inch touch bar MBR and I'm very happy with it. If anything, it's a little big for the new MBP but not enough to matter. Plus it's $13 and the felt finish looks better than most sleeves.

Just got my MacBook Pro 15" 2016 today. Any good recommendations for tight fitting 15" sleeves?

The buckle is sturdy and feels nice. I have tried to get the buckle to unclasp when it is secured and it will not budge. Feels like very heavy plastic. The bag is also deceptively and surprisingly large and I have not gotten even close to filling it to a point where the bag is hard to close. If anything the more full it is the easier it is to close the clasp.
