I know this thread is for Retina MacBook Pros, but since I can't find a thread for the late 2016 MacBook Pros, I thought I'd ask this here. Due to the dearth of cases for the 2016 MBP, how well would a Retina MacBook Pro or MacBook Air sleeve fit? Incase is having a 50% off everything sale for Cyber Monday, and the one I'm looking at is the Slim Sleeve 13". Has anyone personally tried these on the new MBPs? Thank you.
That thing looks so nice.... there are just so many cheap alternatives D:A plug for the Tom Bihn sleeve. I used one for my older 15" MBP, and now using one for the 2016 15" MBP. Very nice, simple, get's the job done with adequate cushioning (though yes higher cost and shipping costs compared to what's on Amazon).
Thanks! Looks like that's the official word from Incase on their Facebook page. I see the black and khaki options are available. Is this what you're looking at?Word is that the incase slim lseeve for the ipad pro actually works very well for our macbook. Only problem for me is the grey version is sold out on incase, and I cannot stand the color of the brownish one.

Ah, okay. That was my first choice, but decided to get the khaki instead since it's 50% off. Hopefully it will grow on me.Yes, but the heather black says "notify me when in stock
It doesnt allow you to add to cart.
Very nice...... I will definately consider this one. Thanks, RayJust ordered this: https://www.sfbags.com/collections/macbook-cases/products/macbook-sleevecase
I was going to get the messenger bag but I don't carry my Macbook around much and I already have a tote bag for that, so I didnt see the reason to spend $200 on yet another bag.
This may be an option for me as well.Just ordered this: https://www.sfbags.com/collections/macbook-cases/products/macbook-sleevecase

Thanks.....Great info. Nice to know where they stand. I'll probably hold off due to not receiving my MacBook Pro until mid December. Thanks again, RayJust called InCase. Rep. told me she expected the 2016 MBP cases to be released after January 1st, although she hoped it would be before the holidays but didn't think it would happen especially with how busy they are now after their 50% off sale.
She offered me the iPad pro 12.9 case for 50% off still but I declined. Going to look for an alternative now.
Nice. That's enough time for me to wait and get a new case.Just called InCase. I do, its fit perfectly. The felt is really good quality, quite thick and the inside is lined with some 'fluffy stuff'That looks pretty good actually - have you got your Macbook yet to test it out? What is the fit like and does it offer much protection?
Cheers
Thank you. Just orderedThe buckle is sturdy and feels nice. I have tried to get the buckle to unclasp when it is secured and it will not budge. Feels like very heavy plastic. The bag is also deceptively and surprisingly large and I have not gotten even close to filling it to a point where the bag is hard to close. If anything the more full it is the easier it is to close the clasp.
