I tried the Lineage sleeve at the Apple store and it didn't feel like a good match for the rMBP. It did slide around and was a very loose fit. I loved the looks of it though. Obviously this is a matter of opinion, but I wanted the tightest fit possible. Out of all the ones I tried, THIS was by far the best.

Yea I ended up getting one of the slim sleeves as well. I was going to wait for them to release ones specifically for the rmbp, but had to get one because I'll be traveling soon. Definitely helped my decision that amazon had it for $18 :D

Im using a incase slip for a regular 15 pro, and the retina is a little loose but I couldn't beat the $15 price.

My Colcasac sleeve finally came in. It was a tight fit, however there is enough slack at the flap end that I can leave a Logitech wireless receiver plugged in at all times.

I'm being lazy and I don't feel like reading through this thread, so I skimmed very lightly - why does everyone love the booq cobra bag? Why is this bag so great?

has anyone used this with the rMBP? it's the hex recon 15" bag. it looks pretty good.
it is pretty obvious that anything that can fit a MBP will be able to fit a rBMP. but the question is that will there be a lot of loose 'gaps' etc...

i'm a student, so i'm looking at (fancy) bags more.

Does anybody have a good coupon code for incase? I want one of the terra sleeves, and thought I saw somewhere something like $10 off and free shipping.

I just received 2 WaterField sleeves from sfbags.com which they now offer for the Retina MBP, both the SleeveCase (I selected the leather trim with flap) and Suede Jacket Sleeve:

I selected these after many recommendations on the forums here, and I wanted to report that the fit and quality is outstanding. Worth waiting a few days for delivery to the UK.

If I get a retina, I've been looking at the SleeveCase. Could you say a bit more about it? Is the fit really snug? Build quality seems good?

Moshi claims that the keyboard cover they make for the MacBook and MacBook Pro works perfectly well on the Retina.

Is this true? Is anyone using one? How is it? Thanks.

Is it possible to please post the dimensions of the case with the rMBP in it?
Thank you!

Got the Ogio Renegade RSS case in Charcoal.

HATE the color, LOVE the case.

So I ordered the black which is now in stock and will send the Charcoal back.

Another week without.......

I've got one of the SleeveCases for my Retina as well. The fit is perfect, and the build quality is top notch. I've had SleeveCases for my iPad and MacBook Air as well, and I would highly recommend all of them to anyone over any other cases I've tried.
