The new Incase one designed for the TB MBPs is a better/proper fit. I think someone has posted detailed pics a few pages back.
Yes, I did. The new Icon's fit better than older ones. Though in the end I preferred the "Slim" Incase one.

Hey, I've skimmed the thread but haven't seen anything yet so thought I would ask....anyone have any recommendations for a messenger style bag that would fit a 15" MacBook Pro and also have enough space for a weekend trip? Thanks in advance!

I picked up one of these for my laptop and I really love it. Not sure if it's big enough for you it is slim but I really like the size of it. They have lots of other options as well. Quality on these are really great I picked up a gear pouch as well and it keeps everything pretty organized.

Not many mentions of the Be.ez sleeves in this thread, at least not for the past several tens of pages. I went and ordered this:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B06ZYCS46G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The color-scheme is admittedly cheesy and as such not exactly to my liking, but this particular model is the only one confirmed to match the dimensions of the 2016 MBP; there are a couple others that are advertised as being suitable but according to customer reviews, some of those are actually made for the previous model.

As an update, Amazon cancelled my order, claiming they won't be able to secure any stock. :( Why is it that Be.ez sleeves for the "new" (2016-->) MacBooks are so hard to come by?

Ordered the Viper Hard Case by Booq. Those internal pockets are going to tote an ipad, kindle and charger along with a MBP 13.

Just bought the latest ICON silver diamond sleeve for my 2017 13" TB MBP. I also have the old ICON sleeve for my 2015 13" rMPB.

ICON silver diamond sleeve with 2017 13" TB MBP - Visible gap around the sides and you can feel the laptop slide around

Old ICON grey sleeve with 2017 13" TB MBP - Slightly bigger gap than the new sleeve, and definitely slides around.

So is it the consensus that the silver diamond ICON sleeve is the correct version for the TB MBP? Debating whether to keep it or return it.

With my old grey sleeve and 2015 rMBP, it was a tight and snug fit and it did not move around the sleeve at all.

Not sure what's going on with the 13" ICON there but if you go back in the thread I posted a bunch of pictures of the 15" ICON and it is a way better fit than what is pictured there.

I agree that the old ICON + Retina MBP fit a little more snug but I also feel like having a tiny bit more room makes it easier to use overall. (Again what is pictured right above is way more room than the allowance on my 15" setup)

I have a question:

I have the 2017 13" MacBook Pro and I just bought a sleeve for it. This may be a silly question, but should I shut down the Mac every time before I put it in the sleeve?

Thank you in advance for your help.

I bought slickwraps carbon fiber decals. Although it is not a case or sleeve I must say it protects the outer parts from those fine scratches of regular tear and wear. I have a sleeve I bought a couple of years ago for a bigger 15" MacBook Pro and it still looks great but now with extra space.

I'm looking for a case/sleeve/mini bag for MacBook Pro 2016 13" where I will have space not only for notebook but also charger and few accessories like adapter or hub. Do you know this kind of case?

I don't own this sleeve but Tomtoc 360' seems to make a strong case for itself, combining reportedly solid quality and features with a very affordable price tag. It's got a sizeable side-pocket, big enough to fit an iPad, apparently, so should be gravy for stuff like adapters.

Doesn't anyone have the ProCase 13 or ProCase 14 for their 15" MBPtb? If so, what size did you get? I want to know if the ProCase 13 will hold the TB 15" due to the change in size. In the review, and one of the questions answered, seem to indicate the 15" will fit inside the 13, but I'm worried about it being so snug that the MBP rubs against the zippers causing scratching to the MBP. At the same time, if the ProCase 14 has too much room, then the MBP is just bouncing back and forth. So I'm really unsure which one to get.

I just bought this as despite owning the fantastic Pack and Smooch case, I wanted a neoprene sleeve that would allow me to slot it into a bag's laptop compartment - the P&S is too big to allow this in most cases due to the thick wool.

The Tomtoc is very decent for the money - at £20 you can hardly go wrong here given the Incase options start at £40.

I will say that the corners of the padding are very snug indeed. In fact, when I first put my MBP into it, I though there was a design flaw and that it would not fit! However, having used the sleeve for a few days I realise that you have to almost wrap the corners around the laptop so it is 'locked' into place. When this is done, the fit is very snug and with no shifting around for the laptop. The bottom of the sleeve also has a thick padded insert which may be removed which is great if you are slotting your laptop into a satchel style bag.

I would definitely check this sleeve out people.

***I have reviewed my view on this sleeve. Please see below post***
