my new mcm stark backpack, fits both 13inch 2015 and 15inch 2016

ok this site's image posting tools is clearly retarded. guess u guys have to take my word for it LOL

[MOD NOTE]
I fixed for you. The image was not working because the link you provided didn't end in a jpg

Never been a fan of branded bags especially MCM's branding but to each his own. I would buy the business bag though if the logos weren't everywhere on the bag.

I have used Radtech sleeves for all of my wife and I's MacBooks and MacBook Pros for many years. I still use a variety of different cases and bags depending on what I am doing or where I am going, but the Radtech sleeve is a constant. All my Mac laptops are basically scratch free since they are always in the sleeve when not being used. I also recommend the Radtech ScreenSaverz to go between keyboard and screen. I usually order a matching set--Sleeve and Screensaver--with any new laptop. My current 12" MacBook lives in the Indigo blue sleeve with indigo screensavers.
Thanks for the reply. I think I'll go for Radtech again then. Shame I have to import it. The one retailer which used to sell it here no longer exists, I think.

I had to import mine too - but I signed up for an account with Radtech before ordering and they gave me a couple of coupons including 50% off international shipping which saved me a decent amount and let me go for a slightly more expensive shipping option. Just ordered it on Thursday and it will reach me on Monday according to FedEx...

I didn't even know that they do international shipping. I normally just get things shipped to a friend in the States who then sends on to me.

Incase Icon sleeve. https://www.incase.com/devices/macb...leeve-with-diamond-ripstop-for-macbook-pro-15

No zippers. Excellent edge and corner protection, perfect for carrying in your existing backpack or messenger bag.

I pulled the trigger on the https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07B3PLVCP/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and it protects the mbp very well. My gripe though is every time I have to pull the corners over the edge of the laptop every time I put it in and it's a bit annoying.

This incase one though actually looks pretty good and I will save the link to it, for when I'm finally annoyed enough with this one :)

I slapped a dbrand skin on the laptop to protect it, and I've been using an old WaterField Racer-X bag. The thing is over 6 years old and has held up strong, which is why I'm in no hurry to replace it.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a messenger/backpack that is slim and can fit a 13" MacBook Pro 2018 and a 12.0-inch iPad Pro?

I quite often move around with both devices and at the moment just chuck them in a backpack that isn't made for carrying either.

Thanks.

187 pages, there may very well be one that fits. ;)

While I haven't purchased it yet, this post about a Waterfield Zip Laptop Briefcase fits the bill. The medium sized model can hold a MBP and iPad

Hey guys, in 2018 is there a viable option, tested and vouched for by this community, for a hard shell sleeve for the MacBook Pro 13 and 15" 2018 models?

I'm thinking of something like the Thule gauntlet 3, but I keep hearing mixed reviews, as if it's not a custom fit for the MacBook pros and it slides around.

https://www.thule.com/en-us/us/comp...let-30-macbook-pro-sleeve-13-_-tl_85854236959

The reason soft neoprene sleeves don't work for me is b/c they do not alleviate pressure on the screen when in a backpack. You develop white spots over time, and keyboard mark indentations on the screen, both of which are not acceptable to me. So I'm looking for a rigid sleeve that isn't too bulky if possible. The new 2016 -2018 MacBooks are extremely susceptible to these problems due to the design and thinness of the lids. I did not complain about this with the prior generation as much, b/c I knew that I put too much pressure on the lids if I saw keyboard marks. But this is absolutely not true for the newer generation.

Anyone found a clear hard plastic case that fits the new 15" MBPs? I have been searching for days but all I found had reviews with many complaining about them cracking from normal use. I used to have Speck cases on my 2012 MBP and they were really good but Speck has been out of stock for over a month now so I doubt they are making it anymore.

So far it seems like I will be going for a sleeve instead but this will only protect it when inside a bag or when I have the MBP shut down and not in sleep. (link: https://www.apple.com/shop/product/...1&fs=f=15_mbp_thdblt3_late2016&fh=4592%2B4804)

Does anyone here use a hard case like thkse from speck, mosiso or incase? Does it really scratch the mbp finish? I'm assuming that if I put a case on my mbp 15, it will no longer fit a sleeve should I want to put it in one.

Apple is selling the Incase hard shell and at least 3 so far gave it bad reviews on the online Apple Store. They are all complaining that it cracks for no apparent reason (no dropping, hitting, etc).
