This thread is for us squaters that waited until Feb to order the MacBook Pro. Just wanna track to see how long late-comers will have to wait. Update when you get Shipping Conf.

I've been squatting and yet to put an order in... it seems like I'll be having to wait atleast 4 weeks for the thing to ship anyhow... bummer.

Also, does anyone have any guesses as to when the shipping time will come down? iBooks and other PowerPC machines ship within 24 hours... any guesses as to when the MacBook Pro will start shipping in a few days instead of a month?
 
Squatting here too. The wife wants a 1.83GHz almost as much as she wants children.

I was hoping that she'd hold off to see what Apple unveils April 1st. Doesn't look like that's going to happen, but I don't think it'll matter. If it's a good deal now, it'll be a good deal then too.
 
Duff-Man says...no offense, but really, how many threads are needed for shipping dates/received dates etc etc...it really does get to be totally unnecessary and completely trivial...are people that void of new things to say to have to start a new thread for every possible permutation of MacBook shipping information? .....oh yeah!

i ordered on feb.6th and have a march 8 ship and 13 eta,i have a question thou,i had a preauthorization of the full amount for the macbook for 5 days,but today it was taken away and i have the full amount available in my account.what could be the reason????hope we all get bug free macbooks!where did all my fellow feb ordererd go??
 
May be if enough time goes by we'll get free proc upgrades. :)

Ordered MBPRO 2.0/120 GB on Jan 28th. Estimated ship date March 3rd. Originally, it was coming in Feb until the speed bump. I was hoping people would upgrade to the faster one and my ship date would bump up to Feb again. At least the updates to Universal Binaries are faster than most people's ship dates.
 
Ordered on Jan 31th through Apple Store. Got the shipment notification on Feb 24th. :)
