That was great!

Now if they could only make it a mini ... something that could fit in the palm of your hand, and maybe lose the whole "book" idea. The whole opening and closing of my MacBook just seems to waste time, ya know? :D

Thanks for posting the video. I laughed so hard [I think I even snorted].

LMAO. That was great.

I am totally gonna go into the nearest Apple store and ask for the Macbook Wheel (see if anyone of the "Geniuses" have a sense of humor) Better yet, load that as the Home screen on all the computers in there. See people's reactions. Lol.

Great idea, I'll do that next time I'm at the Apple Store, too, thanks for the idea! :D

I bet some really bored slightly cookoo programmer has already developed an App that you can install on your Macbook and use the gen 2 Ipod wheel to control it.

Heres what the sentence guess thing said after they scrolled it a bit.

business customers

"It remains to be seen if the wheel will catch on in the business world for actual work and not just dicking around."

Hysterical!

Bang on - treads the fine line between satire and reality - especially the bit about not dicking around ;)

That was the best part. I'd say a fair bit of the new OS X user base talks about how much more efficiently they can work on their new macs than they actually do. When compared to their windows counterparts who just sit down and finish their work.

Onion New Network is great--the sets, the acting, everything perfect.

Pause and read the sentence predictions--too funny :D And at the end: the next model won't have a wheel or screen. (Shuffle?)

Also funny: the idea (common enough to make fun of) that Apple cranks out bad products which people buy just because they're from Apple. (Examples? People will always point to the Cube... but isn't that an example of a GOOD product that people did NOT buy?)

To avoid news bias, the onion interviewed a devoted microsoft user who stated "I will buy anything thats dull and from microsoft"

Glad to see equal coverage of both companies

Lol. Should've read, "...anything that's dull, overpriced, buggy, and from MS."

I'm gonna start checking out the Onion more often.

"It might be a buggy version 1.0 (don't even act like Apple isn't more guilty of releasing buggy products too early) but at least it gets the job done and doesn't cost an arm and a leg."

They're superb. I believe that one of their videos - the Make-A-Wish one - actually managed to bamboozle some idiots in the real press. My favourite is the Ninja parade.

It's funny? I've never found reality that amusing.
