You can install a Core 2 Duo T9300 or T9500.
I'm using the T9300 on my 2007 iMac and it seems to be working great. It's no workhorse but it does casual very well. The T9500 has the same specs except for base frequency is a little higher. Either or should work well. I decided on the T9300 just because it was $30 cheaper than the T9500 and the X9000Hello
Excuse my english I use google translation. I would like the which processor is best between the T9300 and the T9500 for an IMac mid 2007. thank you in advance.
cordially

It's not going to with either of them. I have done a few test and it does seem to actually run at the correct speed despite only showing 400MHz in the about sectionHello nandor 690
I had seen that with the T9300 "in about" it does not display the right frequency.

@dosdude1 Hi, i am sorry for my bad english,
I always follow all the things to do, but, it's for the 20th time I think, that when I reboot the pc, after that sierra patcher finish to patch the usb key, the bar under Apple's Logo is filling, 'til the midpoint, then, a prohibition sign appears, all the times.. pls help me :S

Followed your advice, had the same result. Found there was a problem with accounts with the app store. Thanks for the help, though. One last question: With the new patch installed, should I go back to the default catalog for software updates? Or leave it with swdist.furcode.co? Thanks again.Try reinstalling the patch that was recently linked and then do a restart.
You should revert it back to the stock catalog.Followed your advice, had the same result. Found there was a problem with accounts with the app store. Thanks for the help, though. Thats not caused by the patch. Maybe you enabled SIP or reseted PRAM or removed patched files that required to allow osx to boot on that machine. Boot from recovery (if it's patched before) and first disable SIP with csrutil.
You should revert it back to the stock catalog.
You'll need to re-run the post-install patch and possibly use the force cache rebuild option. The issue is that your kextcache was rebuilt when running with SIP enabled, and excluded the patched kexts.Just updated to 10.12.3 on MacMini 3.1
After restart I get only onto the login screen, because my USB keyboard does not work. Single user mode says, that USB
power missing or something like that (nevertheless other OS works).
I had SIP enabled because I did a Pram reset these days. My recovery is not patched.
I tried to disable SIP with the installer USB stick. Sayd successful, but I am not sure, if this works.
Any idea and thanks?
