@dosdude1 Hi, i am sorry for my bad english,
I always follow all the things to do, but, it's for the 20th time I think, that when I reboot the pc, after that sierra patcher finish to patch the usb key, the bar under Apple's Logo is filling, 'til the midpoint, then, a prohibition sign appears, all the times.. pls help me :S

Hello
Excuse my english I use google translation. I would like the which processor is best between the T9300 and the T9500 for an IMac mid 2007. thank you in advance.
cordially
I'm using the T9300 on my 2007 iMac and it seems to be working great. It's no workhorse but it does casual very well. The T9500 has the same specs except for base frequency is a little higher. Either or should work well. I decided on the T9300 just because it was $30 cheaper than the T9500 and the X9000

Hello nandor 690
I had seen that with the T9300 "in about" it does not display the right frequency.

It's not going to with either of them. I have done a few test and it does seem to actually run at the correct speed despite only showing 400MHz in the about section

I just updated to macOS 10.12.3 from 10.12.2 and it went well.

I didn't do anything special but now I am not seeing the update for iTunes 12.5.5.

Is there anything I should do? Are others seeing this update or is it just me?

thanks

Thats not caused by the patch. Maybe you enabled SIP or reseted PRAM or removed patched files that required to allow osx to boot on that machine. Boot from recovery (if it's patched before) and first disable SIP with csrutil.

I have the T9500 which shows 700 MHz in the about this mac window. It runs at 2.6 GHz in practice.

Hello
I think I will order the T9500 for my Imac 20 "mid 2007. thanks to you for the information someone can put a bootable copy of his USB key of siera.

Try reinstalling the patch that was recently linked and then do a restart.
Followed your advice, had the same result. Found there was a problem with accounts with the app store. Thanks for the help, though. One last question: With the new patch installed, should I go back to the default catalog for software updates? Or leave it with swdist.furcode.co? Thanks again.

You should revert it back to the stock catalog.

It says Command not found.. is it normal? I have lion ._. And i am using the same pc, before to patch and create usb and after to install, is it a wrong thing?

Just updated to 10.12.3 on MacMini 3.1
After restart I get only onto the login screen, because my USB keyboard does not work. Single user mode says, that USB
power missing or something like that (nevertheless other OS works).
I had SIP enabled because I did a Pram reset these days. My recovery is not patched.
I tried to disable SIP with the installer USB stick. Sayd successful, but I am not sure, if this works.
Any idea and thanks?

You'll need to re-run the post-install patch and possibly use the force cache rebuild option. The issue is that your kextcache was rebuilt when running with SIP enabled, and excluded the patched kexts.

Hi! Since 10.12.3 my macbook pro mid 2009 is acting strangely, the fan is spinning really hard randomly, like oscillating from loud to quiet every second. Its happening with anyone else?

Edit: After a while the problem disappeared, weird.

Nearly had a heart attack.

I went to upgrade to my Early 2009 iMac to 10.12.3 and thought, "oh, I should make a new patched MacOS installer USB key", and so I did. I ran the latest Patcher and built a new installer key, and afterwards it mounted correctly.

Then I proceeded to install 10.12.3, but forgot having recently zapped PRAM. So what happens? Install finishes, it reboots get no power to the USB bus. Luckily, I have my brand new installer key to boot from!

Try to boot from it. KERNEL PANIC. Yay! Oh, and my backup drive's never been patched!

All I can do is get to Recovery Disk; and in my head I'm going through if I'll be able to use one of my Raspberry Pis to build a 10.11 installer key and hopefully downgrade so it's at least usable.

Thankfully, I thought that even though I may not be able to boot from that Installer USB Key, I may be able to access the files on it through the Terminal. Wonderfully, even though it wasn't bootable, it did mount. So I navigated down into the Utilities folder on it, through the app and into the MacOS folder held within to run the post-install app.

A quick patch and all was back to normal.

But I'm leaving this here to remind people:

1) To *always* test your backups and installer keys.
2) That the post-install patcher *can* be run manually, through terminal, from an entirely different drive.

I had tried a different update method using a modified macOS 10.12.3 update.pkg. Edited the distribution file to include my boardID and exclude my boardID from unsupported. Flattened the .pkg and ran the installer as usual. Then something I have never seen before happened. The installer said something like "This software might not work on this computer, continue? Yes/No?". I clicked "Yes" and the installer ran for a while then failed. It had removed Safari (maybe just to annoy me). After a reboot, everything went back to normal (and Safari returned) but my modified update.pkg definitely didn't work. This update method used to work but now it fails. It seems like Apple added some extra checks to the non-AUS update pkg. Any ideas? I'm not too worried about it as the updates run from AUS works but I am wondering if Apple is cracking down on unsupported installs.

Hey guys; anyone know how to remove AUSEnabler? I have it installed on my new MBP, which was a time machine restore of my old computer. Anyone know?

Edit: I'm an idiot. Just run the app and have it reset updates. Thanks, self.

Thanks dosdude1 and Czo for your help. I was trying to update iTunes today and it wasn't working. Came here and it solved my problem.
