I opened the app from the dmg without installing it and it ran fine on my 2017 mbp 15 running 10.13.2 beta 2 (17C67b).
Thanks for trying it out. Probably one of my plugins that is acting up now i guess, it worked in beta 1

Hi, my iMac 8,1 which took took High Sierra 10.13 just fine (minus the known wireless issue), now has reverted upon install of 10.13.1 update to no control over sound. I booted again from the dosDude patched installer stick I used for 10.13 and ran the post install patches again but to no avail. Sound is at full blast unless and applicaion has a slider. keboard keys for up volume, down volume and mute show the visual cues on the screen, but sound does not react. Anybody else cured that yet?l There was an additional install in the pop up window after i ran the original dosDude stick (one used to install 10.13 for the night lighting thing, but nothing that gave me sound control. Let me know if anyone overcomes that?

Anyone having trouble with downloading files via 3rd party browser? I think it's a bug that I'm facing. Downloading won't even work on chrome and every single time it's freezing firefox when a download is finalizing! Kind off crippled my MacBook. Please, someone, help me out with this.

Do any builds of 10.13.1 fix problems like,

Sometimes Mac wont wake up after its on sleep for a while, and I have to force shut it down

Computer screen freezes at least 10-15 times a day, albeit brief, but I never experienced this before 10.13

Media key / AirPods/bluetooth device bugs - 90% of the time if my airpods are connected to my mac, taking one out wont pause anything, and double tapping wont pause anything, and then when it does, its not what I intended to pause!

The EXACT three problems I’ve had since 10.13 betas. 2014 MacBook Pro. I haven’t tried the new betas but from what I’ve read, these three issues haven’t been fixed. Had 0 problems before 10.13.

I have a 2015 MBP and have only had these problems since Ive upgraded to 10.13. Never had anything like this prior. Although it is a bit better on 10.13.1. A bit.

Try resetting the PRAM and SMC. I did that during the betas and forgot to do it with the GM. I did it early this morning and haven't had any lockups and the screen has been waking up normally. So far the play/pause buttons are working but they usually do for most of the day and then stop after using different audio sources. There is a download out there someone made to fix this but I'm waiting for a fix from Apple.

The other problem I have is unlocking with Apple Watch. It's so inconsistent now (50% of the time) whereas it worked 99.9% of the time pre-High Sierra.

I have the time separator changed to a point . instead of a colon : so 9AM reads 09.00 instead of 09:00, this is on both Macs.

On my MBP, i have an external monitor, and now I cannot save files to the external monitor's desktop., can't drag and drop them to it either.

I stil, haven’t done the update to the High Sierra as there were a lot of issues. have these issues been sorted out yet? Is it worthwhile doing the update? MacBook Pro 2013.

Thanks for any relevant info.

I would stay on Sierra if there's no concrete reason for you to update. This is coming from someone who always tells people to update and who is usually on the newest beta on all of my Apple devices!

I have a 2013 MBA that is on High Sierra. I believe there is some kind of bug with the Bluetooth and WiFi. I was having an issue with it in the office connected to display and Bluetooth Apple keyboard/mouse and WiFi showing full signal and connectivity but in safari it says no internet connection.

Come to find out last night as soon as I disconnect the bluetooth periferals boom everything lights up and I’m back online. I don’t even have to turn Bluetooth completely off just disconnect periferals.

Any ideas?

I have this problem as well in 10.13.1, already tried to reset the SMC & NVRAM but did not help..

Yes, I've been experiencing the occasional BT and WiFi weirdness in High Sierra too (I think it actually got worse in beta 3)... things like it not finding any networks until WiFi is turned off and back on again, BT not seeing devices randomly, etc. I'd hold off upgrading for now as well, if you don't have to.

Same. This is the first release where I wish I could go back to a previous OS version. High Sierra is pretty bad for me on my late 2013 MBP

I believe we could downgrade but would need to find a Sierra image to download. Wish Apple would keep the old OS on the app store for just a little while.

Successfully downgraded from high Sierra back to Sierra this evening and now the MBA is not experiencing anymore WiFi issues when bluetooth devices are connected. Really disappointing Apple is releasing poor software lately.

Thanks for your assistance. Any idea when these issue would be resolved? I am so tired of seeing the update icon pop up every morning. Lol

Thanks for that. I'm superstitious about swapping out a perfectly working Sierra for the .0 or .1 release. I'm going to keep an eye on these forums and move when it's good.
