The installation will work and it'll boot and run decently, but you won't get graphical acceleration. Upgrade your GPU. See the first page for more info.
[doublepost=1539205029][/doublepost]Anybody else getting a warning in Safari when you go to this specific thread on MacRumors? It almost looks like Apple is finally making an attempt to interfere.

There was a link to an IP address download that looked suspicious on page 3 of the thread. I’ve removed it and am submitting it back to google to remove from this database.

There may also be an issue with the APFS ROM patcher links, as use of that software can and has resulted in bricked machines.

Getting the same error running High Sierra will not let me into Forums ie; Mojave Unsupported Macs, Safari & Safari Tech gets me in under Mojave. I did disable "warn when visiting fraudulent website", under all browsers (Firefox, Safari & Safari Technology) in HS, still can't get by warning. No problems under Mojave.
BTW there is a beta of Safari under HS, 12.01

Unfortunately I found the issue. @dosdude1's site seems to be flagged by google. I had to remove his links in the meanwhile. We are getting dinged just by linking to his site.

Enter that site in here "dosdude1 dot com", and you'll see it.

https://transparencyreport.google.com/safe-browsing/search
Yes, that seems to be the case. I have absolutely no idea why they're flagging my site as such. I'll see what I can do to get them to remove it from their database.

Yes, I certainly am too, starting this morning. Don't think it has anything to do with Apple, though. Safari (and most other browsers) use Google Safe Browsing data to block fraudulent web sites, so I'd blame Google. It could be that Google has identified the download links to macOS Mojave Patcher as potentially dangerous.

This is beyond annoying 'cause, even if you click on the link in the warning to proceed to the web page, you can't do anything once you get here (like refresh the page or click on a link to another page in the thread) without getting the damn warning page blocking your access again! The only solution, for now, is to go into Safari Preferences' Security tab and uncheck the Fraudulent Sites option.
Thank you I was getting the warning when coming on macrumors a bit annoying

Anybody having issue with the Mac mini (Mid 2011) bluetooth connection with the airpods only? It was working fine when I first updated to Mojave then couple days ago Patch Updater auto updated the mac to the legacy bluetooth patch. Which now broke the airpods connection. it keeps connected and disconnected right away. Meanwhile, my bluetooth keyboard and mouse are fine.

Got the same warning message on Google Chrome as well as Safari Technology Preview browsers.

Same here with firefox on a windows system

Me too, getting also on High Sierra (Safari 11.1.2) the annoying warning on every single page of this thread, another funny aspect is that only this thread has been removed from search engines, even the cached pages, at the moment the only working way to get rid of it, avoiding any third-party whitelisting extensions, is through Safari -- Preferences -- Privacy tab -- uncheck "Warn when visiting a fraudulent website".

- Yes, I made new admin user accounts, in safe mode too. They had same problem.
- I have not tried reinstalling the OS. Using the patched installer went all smoothly, reinstalling wouldn't probably help. I have not tried a fresh install, I prefer not to due to all the extra hassles.
- I simply used dosdude1's installer, the only extra patch I used was https://github.com/julian-poidevin/MBPMid2010_GPUFix, which I have been using for a long time without any issues.
- Testing a non-GUI 32 bit is an interesting idea. Is there such an app out there to try out?

Yes I used an NVRAM flag:

nvram boot-args="-no_compat_check"

Without that flag, when I got to the login page I got GPU kernel panic. Could that be related to 32 bit apps problem?

If you tried everything for 32 bit apps issue, before reinstall, try to unpatch this https://github.com/julian-poidevin/MBPMid2010_GPUFix

I mean use the stock AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kext from Mojave, that should deals with your sleeping 32bit apps on dock, I guess. I know you used on HS, but Mojave could be different.

This thread is blocked into Safari on Mojave. We shall see if the app is blocked. Apple seems to interfere.
I think it is time for @dosdude1 to publish the documentation regarding on exactly what is his app doing, even if he does not opensource the app itself. So others can create similar things and reproduce functionality in hackintosh tools.

That likely wont help with the blacklisting since it's still going to change the system. Alot of the methods have been posted to some degree in this thread so if anyone wants to copy his app, they can do it by picking up the pieces

It actually had to do with some files that were on my server, and Google flagged them as having some malware, even though they did not. It has nothing to do with Apple. This should be resolved soon.

FYI Firefox browser and I had the block come up also. Agreed to go to the site, closed the tab, reopened this thread and all was good.

I see a few references in this thread to Target Display Mode not working properly. Has anyone gotten it to work on a 2011 iMac with AMD 6xx0 graphics? I always figured TDM was a firmware-level thing, not an OS-hardware-driver thing, but if it doesn't work in Mojave, it must not be.
I didn't find a way to make it work on a 2009 11,1 iMac with Radeon HD 4850 GPU and I thought like you that the feature was not directly related to the OS but more on the hardware/firmware side.

My solution is an SSD with two partitions:
  1. Big one for Mojave, successfully installed and working perfectly on that GPU
  2. Small one for High Sierra, loaded only when I need Target Display Mode for my Windows gaming rig
In case anyone has a solution for TDM on Mojave, I'd love to try it.

Agree, definely a GPU hardware feature, and this "special" TDM add-on is mainly supported by AMD/ATI Graphics, only just few later 2013-2014 machines with an Intel Iris GPU support that, while it seems Nvidia GPUs does not. I believe another AMD kext patching could be required to support that on Mojave.

edit:
(To avoid mistaken I clarify to others)

TDM here stands for Target Display Mode: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204592

Not Target Disk Mode (supported by almost all macs with at least a Firewire port).

I think so as well but I actually don't know if anyone ever tried to do that, considering how "old" that feature is and that its use is probably not so widespread (anymore?).

Just to let you know: if you try to trigger Target Display Mode on Mojave, the iMac screen goes black for a second and then the desktop of the OS appears again, while on High Sierra the GPU switches to the video input, showing the desktop of the other Mac/PC connected.

I have a 2017 iMac and a 2013 iMac and use Target Display mode. I sometimes have problems when I press cmd>f2 I most of the time I get the target display turning black and when I try to drag an app from the main screen to the target screen I am unable to do so. I have to use the cmd>F2 over again, sometimes more than once. Any tricks?
