macOS 10.14 Mojave on Unsupported Macs Thread

Take a look here, maybe you'll find a solution. Could be an issue between the CAT patched bluetooth and the applied bluetooth patch from the Mojave patcher.
Maybe the.burn can help you out, I don't use CAT so it's just guessing on my side but trying to help..

It seems even with the swapped out card, CAT doesnt fully work for some including me. Airdrop works fine but handoff doesnt work at all (using both that tool and the lilu kext/Continuity kext). The same config works fine in High sierra
Upon using of 10.14.1, I noticed this graphic anomaly:
Finder tab gets scattered lines on its name when opening other tabs or when Finder window is out of focus like if I opened other program window).
Is it something related to MojaveOS itself and the fact that it is still getting updated. or due to my GPU(intel3000HD) which is not metal supported?
I noticed it also in safari it looks like light grey dashes on the tab.
PS: I use light mode with transparency reduced.

Well I had to reinstall the OS after I upgraded the GPU because I figured it was easier than trying to remove the Legacy Video Patch. Anyways, after some grinding of the heatsink, I have upgraded my late 2009 iMac with a SSD and a Nvidia GTX 770m. Thanks @dosdude1 and everyone else here that has worked to keep our machines relevant. I'm off to bed, Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

hi, has anyone installed It on a MacBook Pro mid 2010? is there anything annoying? I use my macbook for work, so I didn't a lot of tests on it. I have tried updating to Mojave with update patcher.
All seemed to have gone well but reboot gives ' no entry sign'
I cannot reach my basic system function anymore now using a usb keyboard!
So no pram reset or reinstall is possible..

I've installed Mojave on a mid-2009 17-inch MacBook Pro. Everything went smoothly. Over the past two weeks or so, though, I've been experiencing crashes when I reopen the laptop. The screen appears just as when I closed the lid, but after ten seconds or so it goes black and only power cycling gets it running again. It then works until the next time the lid is closed.
I've tried this both plugged in and on battery power and the only consistent way of causing the problem is closing and reopening. Has anyone else run into this problem? Could it be hardware related rather than due to using dosdude1's awesome software to commit unnatural acts on this machine?

Hi, everything working in MacBook Pro 6,2 (15 inches).
I can also confirm that method works.
Can also confirm: 6,2 is doing well since several weeks
Hoping that tomorrow my RAM (4GB -> 8GB) will arrive. Since I decided now to use this machine for a bit longer than planned^^ Thanks @dosdude1 for saving my money

However, AirDrop is the only Feature from these that I really need^^

Have you turned on Bluetooth and WiFi on both devices? Turn it on (or off and back on if it was turned on already), reboot your Mac and your iOS device and see if it works after the reboot. Also handoff needs to be activated in macOS and iOS.
Am I missing something?

Once you have installed the OS you need to boot back to your USB installer and apply the Post Install patches for your particular Mac and then reboot to the Mojave installation, is this what you did?

This has been stated many times before, but trackpad is not resolvable at this time, WiFi requires that you upgrade your WiFi card, and webcam is being worked on.
