So i posted some time ago but just gonna re-post in case it was missed. Anyone with MBP 6,2 having issues with stuttering bluetooth magic mouse and trackpad in .5? It's as if the USB bandwidth is completely saturated with all the hesitations and non-smooth/sporadically slow movement of the mouse cursor. Signal quality from the magic mouse via bluetooth explorer is fine (plus the trackpad is internally connected)

Creating a new user did not help either. Downgrading the system back solved the issues.

otherwise, the system seems to run fine.
I'll test it and post the result when done. I have a 1st generation BT Magic Mouse.

You can just re-install a copy of macOS using your Mojave Patcher USB drive, then apply post-install patches. When released, I hadn't realized that update would cause issues on 10.14.2 and older. It's been fixed now though, and won't cause issues on any Mojave version.

Thanks man! Now to go see if I can find my usb LOL

if I remember right last year 10.13.6 final came out the same time the first beta of macOS Mojave about 2 weeks after the event in June

Not exactly, this was the official HighSierra time frame release during June-July:

Release -- Build -- Date -- Darwin kernel
10.13.5 17F77 June 1, 2018 17.6.0
10.13.6 17G65 July 9, 2018 17.7.0

10.14.0 first beta DP1 18A293u June 4, 2018 18.0.0

And this is the very last HighSierra build: 17G7024 May 13, 2019 security Security Update 2019-003

Unlike 10.14.0-3, in 10.14.4-5, USB/keyboard/touchpad actually works OOB on MacBook7,1 which is nVidia MCP89 based. Not sure if this applies to other machines, but it is kind of cool (and shocking, for Apple!) that the OS actually got more compatible again.

Less than a month until 10.15!!

That's absolutely true, weird move by apple, maybe who knows they encountered some incompatibility issues with users complaining about interfacing third party vendor devices as raspberry, Arduino and so on.

no working = iSight after update 10.14.3 to 10.14.5 (patcher 1.3.1)
MacBook Pro 2010 13" (7,1)

@ASentientBot is totally right, infact on 2010 machines I used all the 5 IOUSB*.kext stock from 10.14.5 and iSight is working OOB, so if you used some IOUSB* patches you should unpatch them, also deleting the USBLegacyInjector in case.

Your video card is working properly. The line that says there is no driver is about the audio controller. This is for using audio over HDMI. Having no driver here is normal for Mac OS.
Macvidcards.com recommend AMD cards work best for FCP as it is an OpenCL application.
http://www.macvidcards.com/i-want-the-best-graphics-card-for-my-mac-pro-where-do-i-start.html

This may be relevant to you. However, the mp3.1 cannot use the later AMD cards as The CPUs do not have the SSE4.2 instruction set so the nVidia cards have to be used.
Good morning Flacko,
yes, I've read about the poor Open CL on nVidia cards,... but I still think that the GTX680 is better than the 5770... there must be something that can be done... as Apple still consider this graphics card as an option for the MacPro.

Hello,

I have few apps bought/downloaded on Apple Mac Store, but for few weeks I don't have any notifications about updates/can't update any app via Mac App Store. I have to use CleanMyMac to update them. Any idea why and how to fix it?

I am just wondering if it is a normal behaviour: when you go to About This Mac/Storage, the systemmigrationd process goes wild(CPU/RAM usage) for a short while? Is it just because system goes through some sort of indexing/scan to determine the available space etc.?

Yes I did - my hybrid patches don't fix that yet. Dunno why.

HIToolbox affects all things menubar - so restoring the original version will undo those fixes. No correlation to CoreUI but a legitimate configuration if you don't want to muck with the menubar (or don't care for the Dark mode side effects)

CoreDisplay is not part of my Hybrid patch approach. No linked effect that I know of (yet). It IS necessary for graphics acceleration from 10.4.4 onwards (as @ASentientBot discovered)
[doublepost=1557954850][/doublepost]Hmmm a new .6 beta with NO release notes. I hate those...

https://developer.apple.com/documen...notes/macos_mojave_10_14_6_beta_release_notes

Wonder what changes are being snuck in...

By the way, which version of macOS are you run-in? If it's any variant of .5, hybrid transparency patches are not available yet (soon). Some report that .4 versions of Hybrid patches work well with .5, but it's not a tested or supported configuration, so just be aware of that. Thanks.
Can you explain to me step by step how to install CoreDisplay framework..specially HOW TO BACKUP with Terminal?and replace? I am not experienced with terminal commands..If is possible! Thank You!

Just wanted to say something about Hybrid Mode Patch. It's really awesome and does work very well on 10.14.5. As it has been reported before, there are graphic anomalies but I only noticed these in the Finder context menu (tags) and 3 third party applications ("TG Pro", "Drive" and "NZBVortex"). It really doesn't bother me since light mode is almost perfect when the Hybrid Mode Patch is applied. However is there still a way to fix it? Does this also persist when using other GUI patchers? (I use RMCs macOS Patcher to apply the GUI patches – the transutil shell script)

Did you use the whole of macOS Patcher or just the transutil script itself. Currently transutil doesn't support dosdude1 patched volumes as well as macOS Patcher patched volumes. I can improve support and distribute separately if there's a demand for it.

I am definitely impressed with the seemingly improved battery life that came with 10.14.5! Safari Technology Preview 82 seems to be very efficient as well. Looks like Mountain Lion efficiency came back!

I used your patcher or more specifically the transutil part of your patcher separately. The system itself is patched via dosdude1’s patcher. This was my procedure since 10.14.3 and I have always been satisfied with the result so in a way I believe your patcher is compatible? (I’ve never really experienced issues when combining the 2 patchers)

Add info @pkouame..I have an mbpro 5.5..on 10.14.5 dosdude1 1.3.2 patcher..running very well except grayish light mode.
Hi - my Hybrid Mode patch can work for you, see https://github.com/SpiraMira/HybridMode-Public

Hi - Hybrid Mode is not comprehensive. Actually cannot be, as Apple's Dark Mode is an "opt-in" technology and even Apple's native apps implement it differently. Third party apps will "benefit" from Hybrid only to the extent that they convert their apps to Mojave Dark mode first. Many have not.

Not much I can do about that at the moment. But thanks for the heads up, you can post an "issue" on my official github here https://github.com/SpiraMira/HybridMode-Public to keep track of it. Thanks.

Also, a .5 compatible Hybrid mode is in the works and testing well. I would use that instead (when I release it sometime this weekend)

Enjoy.

Easiest way for you to install the appropriate CoreDisplay is to use @dosdude1 's patcher. Again CoreDisplay is critical for graphics acceleration on your machine - not related to Hybrid mode.

Somehow they are related, cause CoreDisplay re-enabled GL acceleration, acceleration brought transparencies and vibrancies back, then your binaries hybrid patching need acceleration to be effective.

Anyway yours HIToolBox and CoreUI patches are very good, since even using older versions they still work on recent Mojave releases.

Hi everybody !

I just installed on my iMac 9,1 (Early 2009), everything works fine, except the brightness control.
Since it was an old known issue, I thought that the "Post Install Utility" would have included this fix too (the notes in the opening post don't mention this problem).
I found a fix on this old post #11156 (back to December 2018), I applied the patch and now brightness works fine.
Is it correct to proceed with that (old) additional patch, or was brightness supposed to work just after installation ? (and so I am doing something wrong).
Thanks for any answer :)

dosdude1 answered your question which I'd already asked previously: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...ed-macs-thread.2121473/page-610#post-27366163

Basically you just need to manually re-run the Backlight Patcher.

How is .5 on the MB5,1? Any KPs?
[doublepost=1558024394][/doublepost]
I believe @TimothyR734 has done it already. It is all good.

The iMac11,2 on .5 final is enrolled in the Beta Program and .6b1 has yet to appear on the CP.
