In my last attempt of installation of the Mojave beta 1, when I tried the patcher to do the USB bootable, It worked, once I received a message telling that the patch was completed. I made the boot with the usb and finished the installation of the mojave beta version. But, when I tried to reboot without the pendrive I received that screen of when the initialization disk It is not found. So now I'm trying to boot with the beta 2 to ser If This problem It is solved.

Hold Option/Alt on boot and select the Mojave installation as the boot drive.

I did it, but even thus the system doesn't recognize the initialization drive. I finished the installation of the B1 version on my SSD and even thus the system doesn't recognize it in initialization. Now I will try the B2 version.
[doublepost=1530725360][/doublepost]Would it is possible that if I have a password to my firmware, this can cause some disturbance in the installation? Because I have, always when I start the computer and press option, or even when I press command+R the system ask me for this password. How can I withdraw it?

There’s a beta 3 now.

Oh, how weird.

You can remove the password by booting into any supported recovery or install system. Go to Utilities and then Boot Security/Frimware Password Utility.

Developer Beta 3 out.

Dosdude1,

I have Mojave Public Beta 1 installed and running fine on an unsupported MacBook Air 2011. Thanks to your Mojave Patcher app, it was successfully setup. Now I'm ready for the next Beta, be it Developer or Public. You indicated from a previous response that doing a "software update" will not work from this patched system (I haven't tried it yet since I noticed that the new beta is out). I guess my question is, if I do the same patch process (download latest patcher, install and do post install), will it override the changes that is already been setup on the previous beta?

Thank you for your patch software (high sierra, mojave) and other efforts.

FYI - based on the first post wiki, dosdude1's patch app only downloads the public beta, and not developer. Unless I misunderstood, you can probably only download or update the developer beta.

I look forward to what DosDude comes up with for the final release. I want to get Mojave on my 2010 MacBook Pro. I use dark mode on my Linux and Windows machine and want it on MacOS as well.

After I receive the message that the patcher was completed in my USB, can I apply in my USB also the macOS Post Install an application that exists inside the patcher, or this is for applying only in my SSD after installation of Mojave?

You need to use the post-install patch to apply patches to the newly installed system.

And how can I download the public beta version? Must I cancel my developer account?
[doublepost=1530727270][/doublepost]Yesterday I received an actualization from the MacOS High Sierra, for a version 10.13.6. My first attempt to install the Mojave was over this version of High Sierra, but it was unsuccessful, as I said before. Now I will try to install over a previous version 10.13.5 that I recovered from my time machine. But according to what you are saying it has a great chance of doesn't work since the version that I'm downloading it is the developer version. The next try after this one will be this: cancel my developer account and try to download the public beta 3 version from the patcher.

You can just download the public beta from http://appleseeddownload.apple.com/...aAccessUtility.dmg?rid=HUw81gFoUwCZv6UigN84Vg

First, thank you. I have installed this version on my application folder. But when I try to patch it, I received the messenger that application was busy at this moment. So, I deleted it. And try again, but now when I try to open the file in my app store, I can't, because there appear only a link to download, and when I try to download it I receive the messenger that my Macbook pro doesn't support the version of 10.14 of the MacOS.

Open Disk Utility and make sure that InstallESD.dmg is not mounted. If it is, unmount it. Download the installer from dosdude1’s patcher or from a supported Mac.

I'm also waiting for Core2Duo, dosdude, please,

We know he is working hard on it. We might need to wait for the GM to come out with the source code to Darwin. And a few days after that Nvidia Web Drivers will be out as well.

I am close to the point of sticking with High Sierra as long as I can for software development and what not. There is gonna be a large divide between HS and Mojave. Right now I can't throw away either of my Mac Pro's for a 2010/2012 which are currently going for a decent amount of money. Good for those wanting to sell. I've seen models jump from 350 to 1000 and some are going for 1500-3000. I got my Eight Core 3,1 for $80 and my Quad Core 3,1 for free. I did put some money in them and most of it will transfer, but I just can't justify anything over 350.00 for a 4,1 or 5,1. And since I have an Eight Core 2008. My sights are on a 12 core 2012. Mojave is going to probably keep the value of the Mac Pro 5,1.

Prediction -> by 2020, Apple will surpass Metal with Lava. And everyone will need a Lava compatible Mac to run Hell. And we will all to buy a 10K Fire Mac or simply sell your soul and make a deal with the devil.

That’s hope that he and the other smart and hardworking people of this thread can figure it out sooner than that.

Can someone shed some light on why videos aren't running in Chrome (youtube) on a supported 2012 Mac mini quad core. Videos run in Safari from youtube but zero on Chrome. Video seems to load cause you can scroll through to see preview shots. Just won't actually play.
