Install this kext

It is a TEST ONLY! you will get kernel panics

EDIT: ALSO USE DRIVERS FROM 10.12.6 not 10.13!
Hi
I already used Mojave Patcher, as I see there is already an NDRVShim cue.
There the rest of the files are used from 10.12.6 for NVidia?
I still have a problem when I try to log in, when entering the password everything just hangs, but the video card is detected, since there are no more friezes and artifacts, and 2 monitors were detected with the correct resolution of what was not up to the patcher, I can not.
Can you tell me what might be the problem?

Use Beta 2 or later. Use the "Download macOS" option in the Tools menu to get the latest release from Apple.

Thank you dosdude1!!!!
Now I'm preparing a bootable pendrive. And next I will try to reboot and install the MacOS Mojave beta 3.

My mac it is a macbook pro 13" late 2011 with intel HD 3000 512 Mg with 16 Gb RAM and 500 Gb SSD. If I get the installation I will post here later.

Do you know if to my bootable pendrive is it need the clover EFI installation also?

One more time, thank you!

Is it possible to update to the new Beta 3? I had download Mojave with the patcher a few days ago. Now I´ve seen the new Beta is arrived. Can I update as usual over the app store? Thank you in advance.

I downloaded the patcher on my mid 2010 MacBook pro with an Intel i5 and Intel graphics. For what I understand, it should work.

I successfully made a bootable USB. Can I install it directly over my current high Sierra, by mounting the bootable USB and selecting to install? When I click the install macos Mojave icon and click continue, the installer errors out saying it needs to download important files that cannot be downloaded at this time.

Or must I go into the boot up recovery menu to install it from there. And if so, it will install over my current install and not wipe first right?

Also, would future updates be able to be performed normally through the settings app?

Thanks for all the hard work in getting this working.

Developer Beta 3 out.

Dosdude1,

I have Mojave Public Beta 1 installed and running fine on an unsupported MacBook Air 2011. Thanks to your Mojave Patcher app, it was successfully setup. Now I'm ready for the next Beta, be it Developer or Public. You indicated from a previous response that doing a "software update" will not work from this patched system (I haven't tried it yet since I noticed that the new beta is out). I guess my question is, if I do the same patch process (download latest patcher, install and do post install), will it override the changes that is already been setup on the previous beta?

Thank you for your patch software (high sierra, mojave) and other efforts.

Is there a way to get wifi working under Mojave on a iMac 27" 2011 model?
Mojave itself works good without any other errors...

Have you tried to copy /System/Library/Privateframeworks/coredisplay.framework from 10.14 beta 1 ? It might work

I got to use the patcher, I guess. But now after patch the macos installation file to the pendrive, I received the following messenger:
760635_55385aaf375a45219cec92f365162c68~mv2.png

Is that correct? No such file or directory for OSInstall.mpkg is it right?

When I create the bootable pendrive, I must format as APFS or Mac OS Extended (Journaled)? I have an SSD where the MacOS will be installed.

Format the pendrive as “Mac OS Extended Journaled”. Format the SSD as “APFS”.

High Sierra's HD3000 kexts now work on developer Beta 3, but nothing's changed, menu bar in light mode is still grey and same graphics artifacts exist as with Sierra kexts.

Hi, I'm finishing the installation in MacBook pro late 2011.
To download the version of MacOS Mojave using the patcher You must Format your 8gb pendrive to Mac extended journaling and GUID options, then open the patcher, then Go to tools And download from there the right version.
[doublepost=1530710080][/doublepost]Once finished the download, install the .dmg file in your Applications folder, then with the patcher Stilo opened select This file that You Just saved in your Applications folder And select the pendrive And click on patch.

True, my initial experience with beta 3 on my 2011 MBP has not been completely positive. Things seem a bit more unstable (had VLC crash twice and a Safari page once), and the speed / responsiveness is mostly unchanged from beta 2. On my supported 2012 MBP, I had the system become partly non-responsive with the 2011 MBP mounted as an external drive using Target Disk Mode as well. These issues will hopefully be sorted out in a later beta.

However, there is one issue specific to my unsupported 2011 MBP: I'm seemingly unable to load the AMDRadeonX3000.kext from Sierra or High Sierra, needed to power off the dedicated GPU for cooler temps / battery battery life when only the integrated GPU is being used. It loaded fine in beta 2.
