I keep getting this error message when trying to run third-party apps within Apple Native Apps like Photos, Contacts and Music. This error example is from Doug's Apple Scripts in Apple Music:
Tried the tccutil reset commands & reboots, from Terminal to All, to no avail.
I've tried installing & re-installing third-party apps or scripts in Safe mode, same result.
Also noticed that, under my "Security & Privacy" -> "Privacy" pane, the third party apps or scripts in question are not listed / never show under any options (like Accessibility, Automation, Full Disk Access or other)
Folder Permissions are all valid and set correctly.
No idea if this an App / script installation, Account or OS issue.........or a combination thereof.......any guidance or help would be much appreciated, thanks!

If you want OTA updates you have to move over to OCLP. Patched Sur and is technical base micropatcher do not allow to apply updates, even on systems like yours possibly not patched at all.
No, this is not what I was writing about. An OTA upgrade is either a small delta or a full update applied through Apple software update (system preferences).
Patched Sur and micropatcher rely on full installers available from Apple. If there is no such full installer you cannot download it and you cannot apply it. Since we have not seen a new Catalina full installer since last late summer I promise we will not get a new one for Big Sur after this summer. So your Patched Sur journey ends there - unless you use some OpenCore magic like OCLP or someone comes up with another workaround.
P.S.: There is simply and currently no full 11.6 installer available.

OK thanks for this info, there is 454 pages here, also can you give me the best way to use OCLP on Patch Sur, in order to update my iMac Late 2013 from 11.5.2 to 11.6? 🙃 Cheers !
On the other hand, I understood that BenSova was not worried about the arrival of the 11.6 package ... When ?
nobody knows

Check out the first post if this thread (I usually start reading a book on page 1). It will give you the OCLP Github link, there is a complete doc online, too. Do not miss it.
After installing OC through OCLP (it will replace the boot EFI contents on your system) either reinstall the same version of Big Sur you already have of try an update through software update. Since you did not patch your Late 2013 it might be the delta OTA of 2,65 GB size…

Thanks but I don't see anywhere here a description to switch to OLCP when you are already using Patched-Sur without starting from scratch. I will wait in this case, Apple will release an 11.6 package soon I hope. If not, I think BenSova will probably be able to provide us with a solution.

The micropatcher technical development has stopped nearly a year ago. Now it got only a GUI - this must be more important than a compelling upgrade story. I described two ways to migrate to OCLP: Either install the same Big Sur version on top of your existing one or more simply try to boot it the existing one after installing OC and try then to start the Apple Software update process as on supported systems.
Check YouTube for OCLP videos in case my written description sounds still somewhat scary.
I have an iMac 27 "late 2012 with Big Sur 10.5.2 (OCLP) on an external SSD. Now when I run the OTA update 11.6 it works, but after that 10.5.2 is still installed. Does anyone know where the problem is?
It's about a month with Big Sur in my 11,3 imac with K2100m GPU and I have the same behavior every now and then: After 2 hours of working, some apps crashes, and if I reopen them crashes again. It's different apps, and after a reboot, all working fine again. The problem is still here after 11.4, 11.5.2, 11.6. I'm using OCLP 0.2.4.

Is it possible to blame a faulty GPU? (No glitches or other strange things noticed). Maybe to give a try to another VBios? (this one is by Nikey22 and was suggested by someone as a solution to one GB RAM instead of 2). Or do you think to try something else?

This is a known problem and occurs on certain machines - you can find reports here on several threads in the forum, different types of Macs (maybe the same ones that are affected by the "race condition"?) and graphics cards.
Yes. The System Information app tells me: "Firmware-Version: Broadcom BCM43XX 1.0"
I'm still testing Big Sur, usually I'm using Dosdude1's Catalina Patcher. There I found out that it was a good idea to manually the select the Broadcom patch which wasn't selected automatically for the MBP8,1.

As said by internetzel there are several posts about this. I've found that running the purge command either via SSH or an open Terminal window brings everything back to life without a reboot. I have not been able to come to source of the problem, but this alleviates some of the pain.

Maybe then, a script executed automatically every e.g 1.5 hour, with purge command will be a painkiller (and not a cure) to the problem? Or as you know may have any other downsides?

Thanks but I don't see anywhere (maybe I can't read or search) how to migrate from Patched-Sur to OCLP, when you've done everything right with Patched-Sur and are stuck in 11.5.2 because there is no Update package combo 11.6. Sorry to piss you off with that ...

I haven't done it, but I imagine you just follow the instructions on the OCLP Github to create an OCLP installer, boot to it and install the operating system over the top of your existing installation (when selecting which disk to install on, select your current Big Sur drive). Then complete any necessary post install tasks (all detailed on Github). Ensure data is backed up in case anything goes wrong. If you encounter issues, nuke the drive, perform a fresh install then restore data from the backup.
BTW, OCLP is awesome. I only found out about it this week and my 2009 MacBook Pro is working almost flawlessly on 11.6 following an OTA update - I expected it to be stuck on Catalina for the rest of its life and couldn't get the latest security update to install. Having OTA updates is revolutionary compared to the older patchers and saved me so much time compared to the old ways of updating. It's also probably your best bet at getting Monterey running, so it might be worth putting the work in to migrate.
