Anyone getting an error during installation on the second reboot "Storage system verify or repair failed (-69716)" and then it boots back into Big Sur? I'm trying to upgrade to Ventura. I have a backup but would rather not do a clean install if I can avoid it.

Finally gone ahead to OTA to 13.0.1 on the 2012 mini w/ 0.5.1 OCLP.

Went nominal, multiple reboots, then prompted to redo root patch. Seems ok, will monitor. Not expecting any bug fixes anyway.

2012 mini updated OTA to 13.0.1 redacted.png

hi, so i managed to install ventura 13.0.1 on my imac 27 2014 ultimo using 0.51.

it runs fine without any flaws, only thing that needs to be fixed is the follwing issue that to my way of working is crucial:
- whenever imac wents dark (locked or logged off) and comes back to light, i see massive delays:
- takes up to 2-3 minutes for the login bar to appear (after i only see blackscreen with the mouse on the screen (able to move smoothly, though)
- after login, imac behaves normal and fast just like after a fresh reboot UNTIL it is logged off again (have not tested with screensaver yet)

has anybody else experienced a behavior like this? what can be done to fix this?

thanks so much, guys!

Updated successfully to 13.01 (22A400) on external usb disk my mini late 2012 quad core.
Root patching 0.5.2 perfectly working.

on iMac 2011 21.5 with quadro k1000m, Ventura 13.0.1 work well, very good... only wifi is broken but with "Wireless USB Big Sur Adapter" v. 15 and a compatible dongle as d-link dwa 121 is all OK... just another note... before with monterey the integrated audio worked, now it doesn't anymore, the item "built-in integrated speakers" is no longer present in sound > output... but the headphone output is ok... the initial sound when turned on is ok, but after that the onboard audio is missing

Hello dear fellows,

I'm running ventura 13.0.1 on my "legacy" rMBP 15 2015 (dual GPU Intel/AMD, 16gb, 1Tb) using OCLP 0.5.1. All is installed correctly from scratch.

My issue is that I will often have a 1080p youtube playback heavily stutter (video and sound) (whatever browser is used) if ever there is any moderate cpu usage besides this video playback (it can be a couple of other tabs open, other desktop apps). I have never ever had this kind of slowdown previously (actually it would seem most OSs somehow manage to highly-prioritize video playback over even the most highly CPU-intensive other processes, no idea how they achieve this). I am talking about 1080p video from youtube. I have realised over the years that my HW can handle 1440p youtube stream at best ;it can't keep up with 4k (be it youtube video or even mkv x264/x265).

Have any of you encoutered such issue?
Is there any kind of tweak that you can think of to solve the issue?

Thanks in advance for any insight.
Kind regards.

that is a weird screen I dont' remember seeing before. Is it accessible from OCLP or is a separate tool?
Because it is not recommended by the OpenCore team, use ProperTree or xcode in case you need to edit a config.plist file.
BTW:
The OCLP team does not support manual changes. There is literally no way to support and fix things if users start to leave the common software base.

At the risk of looking foolish, is: Kernel Debug Kit 13.0 build 22A5365d the same as disabling SIP? If not, I'm confused on the sequence. Do I run OCLP 5.1 first and then the Kernel debug kit on Ventura? I have a Mac Pro 6.1, which I just learn yesterday is affected.

no problems at all playing 1080p videos in YouTube with MBA 7,2 2015 and 13.1 Beta (22C5050e

Sorry, I'm not familiar with it. I create developper account, search Kernel Debug Kit 13.0 build 22A5365d and didn't find it. If you can point me where it is and what to do with it. Does it resolve the problem or shw detail error.
You have to have a Developer Account
Here's the link: https://developer.apple.com/download/all/

Scroll until you see "Kernel Debug Kit 13.0 build xxxxxxx", click on "View Details" , scroll until you see the download link.

Hello all, need help .... I'm just a simple user who want to keep his device, but not tecki, but can follow a guide.

I finally installed Ventura 13.0 on my late iMac 2015 with OCLP 0.5.1 and I was stuck on a reboot with a 97% percentage advance (....the last reboot before the login in Ventura based on a video guide). After 1 hr, I powered off my iMac. I restarted with press option key, login, downloaded the Kernel_Debug_Kit_13.0_build_22A5365d as mentionned on one post and did the Post install Root patch, but as requested by OCLP to do a reboot, nothing happend. So After 10min, I did a power off again. I noticed after I do a login, I can close my session and redo the login and I can do sleep but not able to do a shut down or restart Very strange and wish it work. My CPU is not at 100% used and no app are open.

iMac 21.5 2011 updated with Quadro k1000m 2gb, Ventura 13.0.1 (all work fine, only no wifi solved with usb dongle):

Is it possible to solve the problem of missing built-in speaker voice in audio>output in a future release of OCLP?
