hmmm works for me just fine. Both CMD+Shift+3 and CMD+Shift+4 and also CMD+Shift+5
my screen shots broke in beta 2, but were fixed in beta 3. I never got around to reporting it.

It seems the screenshot with cross hair selection is broke again, but I can cmd shift 4, press space and take the whole window.

Man, I still want to call it "open apple shift 4.", it's been like 18 years since we lost the open apple key, and 30 since we lost the closed apple.

This 2nd seed of developer beta 3 is causing huge issues on my Intel macbook Air 2020. The first beta 3 seed was fine, but ever since installing the 2nd beta 3 which I assume is the same as the public beta, my laptop has been powered completely off the last 2 mornings and when I get it all booted up and logged back in, I get this crash report about it powering off. Well this morning, it stays up for about 15-20 minutes and then shuts off again. I'm about to lose it.. had none of these issues on the first 3 betas before this 2nd beta 3..

I think this is the worst “feature”. Why fundamentally change the way the desktop and windows have worked on macOS since forever? Also, it was really hard to find the button to disable this. Anyways, I submitted feedback lol

1. It's not changing how desktop works "funcamentally". It's barely a tweak.
2. You can easily disable it if you don't like it.
3. It works well for Widgets.
4. It's also very useful to quickly access files on your desktop.
5. It's not technically new, this existed in Ventura too, as part of the Stage Manager.

Not certain if this has been reported or not. On Beta 3. Widgets work fine except CLOCK which does not change time once dragged to the desktop (unless I am doing something wrong)

Dark theme is broken on beta 3, missing light outline on various windows (and menus), making it difficult to discern where windows begin and end when overlaid.

I have an Intel MBA (early 2020) and am not having that issue. Might be worth reinstalling the beta after checking which app seems to be causing the crash.

macOS has looked wonky in regular (non-HiDPI) resolutions since big sur. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case here. cause I haven't noticed any dark mode anomalies on my M2 Air.

Does anyone else experience loosing focus in apps? When I start safari the focus after 3 seconds shifts to something else. Quite annoying when typing something in the url-bar. Does so with every app which starts up with an active searcher.
Yes I notice this too. It only happens when one or both of my extensions (1Password and Ka-Block!) are turned on when Safari starts. I reported this to Apple via Feedback Assistant.

I’ve been seeing this with almost every app, yeah.

I have attempted to add web apps added to the dock from Safari and get the following error:

"The operation couldn’t be completed. (NSURLErrorDomain error -3000.)"

Anyone else?

When i connect my iphone 14 pro and choose it with finder,
the info under the iphone name says 1,01 of 1,02 TB free,
allthough my iphone memory is used with audio of 500GB.

The info on the iphone itself is correct also the color bar
down in the finder view shows the audio storage.

Does anyone have this problem too ?

strange, I never had it stalling even in the previous beta. It used to just crash on most actions in the develop module, and while switching between library and the develop module. Im on an m1 14 MacBook Pro, if that helps. But now those crashes have stopped.
I know why it doesn't work now. LRtimelapse is the reason, after I uninstalled LRtimelapse, now everything works just fine.

I haven't been able to login to Google accounts in Safari since the first Beta. Haven't seen anyone else say they've had that issue. I have to use Bing for YouTube. When I try in Safari it goes to log in, and then lets me click on my profile, but just doesn't do anything. It doesn't move to the next step to put your password in, and it does the same when you click on sign in with a different user.

Not sure if this has been reported, but using the finder to upload photos does not always work.

In fact, more times than not, when I need to upload a photo for an Amazon review or even a forum like this one, selecting ATTACH FILES and then selecting a photo from the finder results in a complete lockout from uploading it.

I have reported this to Apple through Feedback.

it's working fine here. have you rebooted? and is this with safari, or...? do you have any extensions running in your browser? just some ideas...
