MacBookPro4,1 Early 2008 17-inch successful OTA update 14.1.2 -> 14.2 via OCLP 1.3.0. Smooth and flawless process, since I connect the machine to the Ethernet prior to the update.
it happens to me also in Ventura 13.6.1 , Macbook 11,3 Mid 2014 with Nvidia 750m , happened with oclp 1.2.1 and 1.3.0.… BTW, a very strange glitch that I have (only on the MBP11,3: Nvidia Kepler-related, maybe…?) is that, when there is a macOS software update, the “Update” button in System Settings is very laggy (it can take several seconds before it reacts) and the license agreement window won’t appear anymore (it will start downloading directly, without asking for any confirmation): who knows what could be causing this strange behaviour…?
Keep the newest matching your System - it's save to delete the old ones!I see some older KDK eating a lot of space. Is it safe to remove them. Pls let me know

Same here, for a SanDisk 16 GB USB flash drive (seems to happen only for some drives, not for all): evidently, now, a 32 or 64 GB drive is needed, as Sonoma seems to be slightly too big to fit on some 16 GB drives…Did you find a solution to this problem? I've tried with two different USB drives and the result was the same.

Are you using a BT mouse or a USB wireless mouse? I had this problem with the wireless mouse---it was so frustrating when I would right click. The menu would pop up and disappear 3-4 times before settling down. I thought it was the battery---nope. All worked on my wife's Windows 11. I switched to BT mouse and all has been good.… Another recurrent semi-random glitch… Sometimes, for some reason, right-clicking suddenly ceases to work: thus, relaunching the Finder every time you right-click, instead of showing the contextual menu. (And also, sometimes, the Bluetooth menu bar item becomes invisible or greyed out, even if it still works; and the battery menu bar item might disappear, from time to time, thus requiring a logout-login or a restart, to reappear again.)
Reset your NVRAMHello!
I've an iMac 12,2 (2011, 27",500 Gb SSD, Xeon processor at 3,2GHz, 32GB Ram, Nvidia GeForce GTX 770M patched with Nick[D]vB BIOS). I'm really happy with it,
I've installed Sonoma 14.2 (coming from Monterey). Both with OCLP (now with OCLP 1.3).
The main issue that I have at this moment is that the Bluetooth doesn't work. I can activate the toggle control in the Settings, but it remains activated for less than 5 seconds and then the toggle turns to off by itself.
My BT card is the original one (I'm looking for an upgrade following the guide in the iMac subforum), but I can not afford a new card at the moment.
If I take a look at the System Info, in the BT it shows this:

Is there anything that I can try to make the BT work again? (I know that I will not have Apple Watch Unlock or Continuity).
In Monterey everything was fine. Any help or hint will be truly appreciated.

Developers recommend to use a full USB installer. There is no need for root patches because patches are within the installer.Going from 14.XX to 14.2---is everyone installing via USB or simply updating through "settings"? How about 13.XX to 14.2?
rMBP 15" mid 2014 base model (only Intel Iris Pro) with macOS 14.2 + OCLP 1.3.0 screenWell if anyone at all is using screen mirroring to an Apple TV with the Sonoma 14.2RC:s or maybe the 14.2GM that might be released today by the look of it, please comment. Many thanks.

Thanks---I wasn't sure with Sonoma----when on Ventura I did every update via settings. Sonoma some are doing it via USB and some via settings. It appears that incremental updates (all) should be done via USB, at least with Sonoma or to Sonoma.rMBP 15" mid 2014 base model (only Intel Iris Pro) with macOS 14.2 + OCLP 1.3.0 screen
mirroring to old AppleTv classic works - video also. But I mentioned that sound isn't streamed to AppleTV. Youtube vids are mirrored to AppleTV but sound is still on MBP.🤷♂️
@All any ideas?

Better do a seperate download in my experience this happens after a reboot when the internal upgrade was used - no problems with standalone download then apply root patches again.Weird. After updating OCLP from nightly to release (via incremental update), patching and rebooting, OCLP is gone:

If already applied for sure not necessary ;-) - but because of that problem i do seperate downloads instead of using the internal update feature.I see no point in applying successfully applied root patches again. Instead, I just copied the app to the correct location. But ideally, this should not happen.
