Music is crashing a lot and it's fairly easy to reproduce. Moving songs around in a playlist results in frequent crashes for me.
That is very much an issue with M2 and M3 256GB SSDs. They are half-speed in comparison to M1 SSDs or M2/M3 512GB ones. Application startup time is related to disk speed. That really shouldn't be an issue. Unless maybe it's filled to the brim and full memory (RAM).
What is your SSD size?

Even the lower end SSDs are so incredibly fast these days that it shouldn’t impact the startup times of an app like Firefox that way. That is very much an issue with M2 and M3 256GB SSDs. Let's keep this fun and positive!
Not with the m3, check this: macbook-airThat is very much an issue with M2 and M3 256GB SSDs. They are half-speed in comparison to M1 SSDs or M2/M3 512GB ones. Application startup time is related to disk speed.
I happen to have all three M generations and have measured their SSD speeds:Not with the m3, check this: macbook-air
It is worth noting that Apple is now using two 128GB SSDs in the base model MacBook Air, so that machine no longer suffers from slower SSD speeds due to a single SSD module.
I happen to have all three M generations and have measured their SSD speeds:
Mac mini M1 256GB
MacBook Air M2 256GB
iMac M3 256GB
Of the three, M1 SSD is the fastest on BlackMagic speed test, with M2 and M3 at the same, half-speed.
ok, strange. Maybe they only address the problem on the M3 Air, not on the iMac M3, or maybe the macrumor post is wrong.I happen to have all three M generations and have measured their SSD speeds:

None that I have found. It's a shame none of the customization options that are present in iOS are available in macOS.
