Do you have the same issue when using a wired keyboard on different USB ports?

press space bar when MacOS logo appears on startup and select from menu...repeat 4 times...How do you do Reset NVRAM?
That´s why I asked. Reseting the "old way" is useless.press space bar when MacOS logo appears on startup and select from menu...repeat 4 times...
New things always introduce problems.Successful Sequoia 15.1 OTA update from 15.0.1 with OCLP 2.0.2 on an i7 mid-2012 13" MacBook Pro (MacBookPro9,2) with 16 GB RAM and SSD.
Notes:
- Installation took well over an hour after the download was completed.
- There were a few moments when I was concerned that the installation was stuck. For example, the keyboard and screen were both backlit with no apparent activity for approximately ten minutes, i.e., the screen was backlit, but no progress bars or any other evidence of activity were displayed.
- A process called "localspeechrecognition" has been running at 85-100% for the hour since installation was completed. I'm going to leave the system on without sleep overnight to give it time to do whatever background processing it wants to do.
- Overall performance feels comparable to previous OS releases. Assuming there are no surprises as I use it more, performance will be fine for a general, daily use computer.
- I've generally stopped putting this machine to sleep overnight as of Sequoia for reasons I first noticed with Sonoma. In general, when I let it sleep overnight, it will wake up a few times and run background processes. I've frequently found the machine to be HOT to the touch in the morning and running processes like photoanalysisd at 100% for hours, even though I only have five photos in the Photos library. I always power it off when finished using it now.
Yes ! same here on 21,5 late 2013 iMac14,1 - 2,7 GHz Intel 4 Core i5.Installed 15.1 to my Mac, staying on OCLP 2.0.2. Beside the known issues with the "Find My App" the new issue is that WhatsApp for Mac crashes immediately when started. No other new issues so far...(Metallib was also updated)
I think you will have to give more information on what you did to arrive at this - which version OCLP, did you create an installation flash drive, did you do post-installation boot patch, were you patching a beta, or the RC, etc, etc...
CMD+ALT+P+R with pressed power button then at start. I just tested it and indeed I recognized some speed improvements. Thanks for the hint. That´s why I asked. Reseting the "old way" is useless.
