Hi. I was having a lot of issues with my MBP 15 late 2016 with Touch Bar. Mail, Messages, Facetime, Finder, Maps, Handoff and cut and paste between devices were not working. I have installed OCLP 2.2.0n one hour ago and everything is working now. Good news. I was thinking to go back to Sonoma but it has changed completely.

I renamed the Metallib folder (24C98 to 24C100) and the root patch proceeded, but when the MBP boots, it keeps giving this same error every time I run the root patches. I noticed that 24C100 is never downloaded from Dortania's site. On /Library/Application Support/Dortania/MetallibSupportPkg/ there are only previous macOS release Metallibs, including 24C98 (RC 1) but not 24C2100 which is needed for the latest root patching to be applied.
It should be able to download the correct patch in the first place because I keep the MBP connected over Ethernet all the time. Holding off installing the update on the MacMini7,1 and MBA7,2.

I guess the devs are waiting for the final public release from Apple later this week before recompiling the Metallib package for 24C10x and releasing the 2.2.0 final too. I can wait.

One extra step in getting it to work. In the newly renamed 24C100 folder, open Info.plist (TextEdit) and rename the Build line from 24C98 to 24C100, save and quit.
OCLP should now install Root patches ok.
Only a temporary fix until the correct MetallibSupportPkg is released.

Working fine on my late 2012 iMac 13,2.

after looking at https://github.com/dortania/MetallibSupportPkg
I managed to extract the original unpatched metallib from 15.2 RC2 24C100

Screenshot 2024-12-11 at 15.40.38.png

but when I try to patch the metallib as stated in github
python3 metallib.py -p <path_to_metallib_dir>
the folder size gets reduced from 55MB to 1-2MB and so thats the size of the final pkg generated.
I didn't got any error messages during the patching steps in the github :

but it seems the end result is not ok even that the pkg installs fine but I didn't bothered to test it further because of the difference in file size before and after the patching.

So with 15.2 and OCLP 2.2.0 now out, does anyone know if the metallib stuff is ready, or maybe a good idea to wait a few days?

iMac 14,2 27" late 2013
I have just installed the official version of macOS Sequoia 15.2
Everything works vey fine, right from the start.
I used a USB Key created with OpenCore Legacy Patcher 2.2.0
This time the installation took me directly to the Desktop screen in normal mode and not Safe Mode as had happened to me so far!
Preview.app, HOWEVER, still does not work as well, as I describe in the attached image. But the good news is that automatic background removal now works, whereas before it did not; as you can see, in fact, Preview has removed the trees.
I THANK THE DEVELOPERS and ENCOURAGE THEM to find a remedy for Preview's Histogram. Thanks!
The features on my Mac are in the Signature that if it does not appear on mobile devices it is because you have to use landscape view and not portrait view.i

If you want a handy trick for taking screenshots of specific windows, press CMD+Shift+4, then with the crosshairs active tap the spacebar. Now you can click on any window with the mouse to get a screenshot of only that window and nothing else, like this:

macOS 15.2 24C101 is final (not the RC2 build) and released - FYI
😮 strange, it was first 24C100 when I started to download the installer package from Mr. Macintosh's archive page with Apple links. And the matching metallib package for OCLP was also available. Now from your posting I saw that suddenly a new version number 24C101 came up and even Mr. Macintosh updated it. To be on the safe side I stopped the download of the MacOS installer package which takes more than 2 hrs with my slow internet connection and started the downlaod with the new version number again. I did not want to install the wrong OS version and then have to do a second installation for the correct final version. Consequently at this very moment there is no matching metallib package available anymore...
