Beta 10 just came out. You might try updating to that instead?

I’m on public beta 9 and my screen won’t wake when it turns off. Anyone else having this issue? I have a late 2023 MacBook Pro 15 with dual graphics

Try
Code:
defaults delete com.apple.systempreferences AttentionPrefBundleIDs; killall Dock

Updating from beta 10 to beta 11 (GM) made my dock disappear. I couldn't get it back by hovering over the bottom of the screen either.

Restarting got it back (otherwise I would have deleted the dock preference file).

The bug shouldn't be there at this late stage (we are at GM now).

There could be more GMs before release - or they could just fix it for release.

But if they release this build to the public, many won't know how to get their dock back.

I’ve just updated from beta 10 to beta 11 and my dock did not disappear, so hopefully it’s not a general problem with beta 11.

Yeah. I don't think is is a general problem affecting everybody.

But I'm sure I'm not the only one affected - so I made a bug report to apple.

Hopefully it will be fixed by the time it is released. Although I was able to fix it easily, I think many people won't know how to fix it.

So it's up to apple to fix it now before it is released.

Had the same problem last evening when updating to the GM. Every beta update I need to insert my Apple ID password again.

I upgraded from Mojave to GM. Fonts are ****ed up in Chrome/Canary/every Electron app. Is there a fix?

I just did, rebooted, still same issue.

Here is a screenshot, with safari on the right. (Twitter uses the "system-ui" font for default)

is it normal that font book is missing San Francisco??

I installed the official San Francisco fonts from Apple, still the same issue.

So I’m installing public beta and screen is stuck at Setting up your mac.. wth should I do to fix this?

Anyone having problems with video editing in photos app on beta 10 and now 11? No editing options appear when hitting edit on a video, whether from iphone, ipad or imported.

Best bug is getting stuck on "Setting up" screen which is next after the screen time. Left my test Mac for half a day and nothing. Still there since like beta 6. FFS. iCloud asking for password very 2 minutes is also annoying.

I took a risk and updated my work laptop to GM after using the beta for some weeks at home. Now I'm noticing WiFi problems. One minute the wifi menu shows the entire list of networks, the other it does not. Not sure if work environment related but it wasn't happening on Mojave last week.

EDIT: Yep, WiFi just dropped with no networks visible. I turned WiFi off and then back on, and all of sudden all WiFi networks are visible again. Using Sidecar while this is happening for the record.

EDIT: Definitely looks sidecar related.

EDIT: Might be a random-chance event that my work's WiFi routers are crapping out today.

Just updated to Catalina (Public Release) and haven't had time to check much, but my 'About this Mac' now shows 'Intel UHD Graphics 630' instead of 'Vega 20'.

I don't imagine it affects much, and apologies if this has been mentioned before.

This might be an odd question, but does anybody know if zooming in and out with the trackpad (pinch to zoom) works in the Preview app? I use Preview so often (and frequently zoom in and out as I study slides and read textbooks), but it seems like pinch to zoom isn't enabled...

What gives?

UPDATE: It was just a bug I guess (pinch to zoom wasn't working on Safari either). A restart fixed it!

I found a graphic bug. I have downloaded several pictures on a desktop. It has been grouped as stack. Then I have removed this stack. I have also another folder on my desktop. After removing stack then I noticed bug. On a folder which is on top right corner of desktop when changing a desktop I can see old image from stack which do not exist anymore. Once I re-enable stacks then issue went out till next stacks removing and creation. Did you also noted it?

Dock disappears and does not reappear.

in system preference ask me sign in Apple ID. I did sign in then ask me iMac password and I enter it and it keep having red badge of number one asking me sign Apple ID. It keeps coming back. Been at least 20 times now i've entered the passwords.

Confused... Apple released macOS 10.15 Catalina today... when I check for 32-bit apps on my iMac, I see several biggies, including parts of both Adobe's CC 2019 Suite and Apple's own FCPx. Is Apple really encouraging us to upgrade and then taking away our ability to use their own video editing program?
