Having networking issues with VMware Fusion Pro 8.5.10 using macOS 10.14 (18A314k). Ethernet stays disconnected in virtual machine hosting Windows 10. The network settings also are disabled from the preference pane (see attached) but not from the drop-down menu.

I also had to update to the newest version of Fusion 8 because I couldn't click on anything or type anything (cursor changed to a hand instead of arrow).

VMware Fusion 10 is working fine running Windows 10 guest on Mojave host for me. They have released a beta version of Fusion 2018 on the community forum. You could try it for free whilst the beta period runs if you like.

Final Cut Pro X render times are significantly longer than normal right now.

i have not noticed that at all (but will check next time i work)...

EDIT: i'd reported in this thread that VLC did not work for me; i had to uncheck/recheck 'allow' under microphone (in System Preferences>Privacy) for Boom2 (which i use when i use my macbook pro's built-in speakers), and all is well.

Has anyone else tried skygo? Is this behaviour consistent. Tempted to try the beta but this is a biggie for me (obviously I'd have a time machine backup & data backups anyway.. and a spare machine!)

It was consistent in Beta 1, didn't try in Beta 2, but seems to work now in Beta 3.

The main thing stopping me from installing Mojave is that the VMware Horizon client doesn't work with it yet. I need it to access my HVD at work from my MBP. Sucks for me... soon enough I suppose!

Turning on the direct mouse input works for steam some times
but for bornite and overwatch, its still the same
Ah okay. I have direct mouse input off for GE Force Now I only play World of Tanks. Does it work fine if it's off? That was the only reason why I haven't gone to the dev website and download it since I tend to play World of Tanks in Ge Force Now a lot

Don't know if somebody has already discover it, but in Public Beta 2, VirtualBox is totally broken. VBoxDrv.kext is the cause.

Not working on public beta 2:

Elgato Game Capture HD 2.9 - Opens but the window never loads, are able to start and stop capturing from the dock icon though.

Edit: Elgato released an update (2.9.2) and now the window should load.

Virtual box 5.2.8 - Same as fdolbec123

Anyone using GoToMeeting?
I have problems with microphone, neither headset and built-in mic are working inside session, but in System Preferences and everywhere else it's working properly. Permission is allowed for both mic and cam.
EDIT: now that's something. If anyone runs into trouble related to mic and audio in voip apps, try to reset SMC/NVRAM/PRAM. In my case Computer audio options section was missing in GoToMeeting and no matter what I've tried it won't display that option. Clearing ˜/Library/Cache and anything related to GoToMeeting then reinstall app didn't work also.

VLC is in the 'working' list, but... not working for me. i uninstalled/reinstalled. am getting no audio, and when i quit it, it beachballs. anyone else? and any recommendations for an alternative in mojave (at least for now)?

I got it working on my Mojave MBP. It sometime stutter, but overall it's ok. No beachballs and with audio.
VLC version - Version 3.0.3 Vetinari (Intel 64bit)

How about trying the default Quicktime player?

think i posted somewhere in this thread; i had to enable the mic in privacy for boom2 (audio EQ app), and VLC works fine here now. but thanks!

TotalFinder just released an update that works under Mojave! YEAH!
But it requires SIP to be disabled permanently.

My feeling right now is that Apple are putting in so many restrictions that many people will just disable SIP and that rather destroys the point of SIP.
