Dead serious. No. Install MalwareBytes and run it occasion. I only run it about 2-3 times per year. Never had an issue with malware or virus.
Adware.Zap did find some unwanted adware in my Macbook! So I would not be so sure that adware removal is not a problem in Macs although Thanks God! truly dangerous things have not happened to me until now.
However an antivirus helps if you also run Bootcamp Windows in your machine or pass files to Windows users...

I am considering doing the stupid thing of moving my work machine to the beta since I’m a) as mentioned, stupid and b) like what I’m reading but I absolutely cannot without one application that doesn’t seem to have been mentioned. Does anyone have anything to report, positive or negative for CA PAM client?

Disabled permanently - tried enabling again and got error report from TotalFinder saying I needed to disable SIP

i installed bartender a couple years ago, needed to disable SIP to install it, and forgot to re-enable SIP... for weeks. and nothing bad happened.

no one knows you have SIP disabled, and, if totalfinder is worth it, seems reasonable...

Let me second that. Adguard is the best.....by far!

Adguard is 1.5.8 and shows a shield on status bar right?

just wanna make sure I installed the right thing and not some clickbait crap but it seems to block ads!

haven't had a system wide blocker, always used in app safari extensions, for chrome, etc.

thanks

Yes. 1.5.8 is the latest. Shows a shield with checkmark in the status bar

Do you guys use it for non-Mojave macOS too? I guess its got an advantage being system wide huh?

maybe eventually ill throw it on my Sierra build too

Looks like the main software I'll need to update will be MS Office, still running the 2011 version. Looks like I need the 2016 version but we need it for 3 Macs and I don't want to pay 3 times, are there a 3 license version like I got with this 2011 copy? I've looked and can't find any.

Not any more, I was in the same boat last year. Your only choice for multiple Macs is an Office 365 subscription.
