I also had this weird issue yesterday. A reboot plus some time connected to the usb cord solved it (external magic keyboard)all of a sudden today, my keyboard started getting really wonky on the beta. Many keystrokes missed entirely. Got to the point where it was unusable. Works fine on the same device in the partition where I am still running Big Sur.
Anyone else seeing anything like this?

@glbski , I'm having an identical issue, where Messages crashes as soon as I launch it. I tried everything that I can think of, but your post has given me new hope. However, I don't know anybody who has a Mac on Monterey and I don't have another Mac either. Any chance you could somehow share your Messages app with me so I can try?Messages crashes out immediately on my intel MacBook pro...UPDATE, copied over the Messages app from another beta upgraded Mac, it still crashed, then removed the copied app with the help of Clean my Mac, which also cleaned out a bunch of other stuff...now working just fine
According to https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/macos-monterey-working-not-working-apps.2299695/ yes.can anyone tell me if Lulu Firewall works on Monterey?
Airpods / audio was very flaky on beta 5. Interruptions in music, stuttering, disconnecting of airpods. Appears to be much better in beta6.Does someone have issues with AirPods automatic switching? Not working at all here.
Wow, what are the sites? Anything crazy about them? I'm no tech, but try emptying the caches, quitting Safari, and restarting the computer.MacBook Pro 2020 installed Monterey Beta 12.00 now2 when I have two tabs open in safari my CPU hits up to 100 celsius and I get a notice saying webpages are slowing down the computer. spent the day closing apps and tabs to stop, my laptop from melting,.
Yeah, really.. Worked it out - it is now in Network pane of Settings, no longer i the Apple ID sectionDev Beta 6 - can't turn off Private Relay. The option is gone in System Preferences. Anyone know how to turn it off? Eg via Terminal command?
That's odd, my Macmini shows private relay in both locations....Network preferences and System Preferences->Apple ID->iCloudWorked it out - it is now in Network pane of Settings, no longer i the Apple ID section
still in beta. & not everyone has the same experience. so there isn't one answer.Has Monterrey been a good upgrade from BS?
Or is it Monterrey Jack cheese?
You are right, it's back there now for me! Definitely was not there yesterday. So looks like you have a global setting in Apple ID and a per network interface setting in Network. That's odd, my Macmini shows private relay in both locations....Network preferences and System Preferences->Apple ID->iCloud
