ah, different diagnostic steps. but worth looking into. or perhaps calling apple?... just a thought (they've helped me on a beta before, surprisingly...)

Definitely a good thought. I just completed a restore. We’ll see if that does it. If not, I’ll get it over to Apple. Weird the way it affected both the beta and release versions. If it wasn’t for the external keyboard having the same issues, I’d say it was hardware.

all of a sudden today, my keyboard started getting really wonky on the beta. Many keystrokes missed entirely. Got to the point where it was unusable. Works fine on the same device in the partition where I am still running Big Sur.

Anyone else seeing anything like this?
I also had this weird issue yesterday. A reboot plus some time connected to the usb cord solved it (external magic keyboard)

Microsoft pushed out a new Outlook (16.53.21082406) on the Beta Channel yesterday that finally starts up fine for me on the latest Monterey. Earlier version beach balled and wouldn't update info.)

Great. I rebuilt it for nothing? (Appreciate the info; I was probably too hasty in rebuilding it but I needed a working keyboard in the worst way)

Well, I am now all in on Monterey now!

I have no idea why this happens, but I cannot move the received email from my iCloud account to another folder IN MY ICLOUD ACCOUNT using Rules. It ALWAYS defaults to my Apple ID email account which is NOT the same as iCloud account and points to a folder that does not exist.

I remember why I don't bother setting up app-specific passwords for iCloud email address: Apple mail, after 20 years, is still a cluster**** that is utterly unsuitable. People mock Microsoft Outlook and say why people still use that crap, but Microsoft Outlook handles Rules MUCH BETTER than Apple mail. Jesus.

I really should've moved that email address away from iCloud email account years ago. Maybe I will do it now. It's a joke. Outlook will handle rules better.

Messages crashes out immediately on my intel MacBook pro...UPDATE, copied over the Messages app from another beta upgraded Mac, it still crashed, then removed the copied app with the help of Clean my Mac, which also cleaned out a bunch of other stuff...now working just fine
@glbski , I'm having an identical issue, where Messages crashes as soon as I launch it. I tried everything that I can think of, but your post has given me new hope. However, I don't know anybody who has a Mac on Monterey and I don't have another Mac either. Any chance you could somehow share your Messages app with me so I can try?

Wow, what are the sites? Anything crazy about them? I'm no tech, but try emptying the caches, quitting Safari, and restarting the computer.

Yeah, really.. What sites are those you're going to that's causing that?

Dev Beta 6 - can't turn off Private Relay. The option is gone in System Preferences. Anyone know how to turn it off? Eg via Terminal command?

Worked it out - it is now in Network pane of Settings, no longer i the Apple ID section
That's odd, my Macmini shows private relay in both locations....Network preferences and System Preferences->Apple ID->iCloud

I upgraded yesterday and all seems to work fine apart from one thing: in iTerm when there is some output filling the screen, if I click to select some text it scrolls the window one row up. It's REALLY annoying. Has anyone else noticed this?

You are right, it's back there now for me! Definitely was not there yesterday. So looks like you have a global setting in Apple ID and a per network interface setting in Network.

I've suffering a weird issue with Mail & iCloud mail account.
Don't know why but 3 of 5 emails received this night (Spain) appears as "empty" and when tried to open on the iPhone, it said .. the email couldn't be download from server.

since the last update Mullvad VPN is broken. It'll work for a while, but after an hour or so it seems like DNS just stops working. Tried turning off Private Relay, but no help.

Can't connect my iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) to external monitor after Monterey update beta 8.
There is a connection between iMac and external display because the dark screen is illuminated by leds, but iMac can't see a Dell display. If you unplug the connection cord external monitor is turning off.
