My Intel MacBook Pro 13" 2020 does not charge (or maybe the battery % is bugged). It's stuck at 14%, it has been plugged in for a good 20 minutes.

EDIT: Apparently is a known bug

Another one: opening a new tab in Safari does nothing on the Tab Bar, I have to manually click on another tab and then the new one will appear.

It's charging but the % won't change from what it is until it gets to 100%. It's a known and reported issue....

An odd (but not important) thing is that macOS battery monitor and iStat Menus have the problem, but HWMonitor and Coconut Battery get it right.

Had a bug with beta 3 on a 2015 iMac where all the context menus were outlined, but nothing would show up in them. Menubar icons also couldn't decide if they needed to be black or white so many were hidden with a dark wallpaper. Computer was running slow as molasses too. You'd click the address bar in Safari and could tell the Favorites drop down opened, but wouldn't be able to see anything. The main login screen was also absent of any text. Could see the login box, but when typing no characters would show up.

I tried simply restarting, resetting the SystemUI, reset PRAM, etc, etc and nothing worked. Ended up finding a thread on an older OS version from years ago that mentioned starting the computer in Safe Mode then restarting. For whatever reason, that fixed my issue and beta 3 has been problem free since. Just a heads up if anyone else runs across weird UI issues.

Beta 2
- When Private Relay is enabled I can't access the Starlink web UI via 192.168.100.1. Works fine in Chrome.
- Using either Safari or the latest Tech Preview both with Private Relay on and off, I am no longer able to access my Orbi Pro web UI both by the local IP or the orbilogin.net Just gets into a This Connection is not Private -> Visit Website loop. Works fine in Chrome.

Suddenly this morning (after my M1 MacBook Air ran overnight until it was out of battery, although I doubt it's related), many emails (only in my iCloud account) won't load in Mail this morning. They open, but the windows stay blank, some say "loading." Tried turning Private Relay on and off (since that seems to be a culprit for many things cited here), but no difference. Have restarted, rebuilt mailbox, etc.

Never had this before, and several of these are major-source newsletter that have worked every day until today. Also have discovered that searches in Mail are suddenly (new today) not working for iCloud mail.

Anyone else have anything like this? Any fix? Thanks!

Is anyone else unable to use the Page Up and Page Down buttons to go back further in an iMessage conversation now? Scrolling back never worked, but hitting page up would load the prior conversation and you could see it all. Now when hitting page up or page down, it enters a little square with a question mark inside of it in the message typing area.

Same issue occurs even when trying to modify keys to the same commands. No scrolling occurs, just the funky little box.

Yes cited this earlier too.

In Mail, does anyone else find that pasting clipboard text puts it at the very bottom of the compose window, rather than at the current cursor insertion point? I can drag it to the right place but not command-V it; it pastes to the bottom regardless of cursor location.

Logic Pro doesn't work correctly anymore on beta 4 (sometimes hangs for several seconds, crashes wehen closing...) Hope Beta 5 will fix this.

you posted on 2 threads about this; i answered on the other thread... logic is fine here on beta 4.. see my response there.

So I went to install Beta 5. Downloaded, system rebooted. System ended up appearing stuck on the white progress bar, which maybe was a quarter full. After giving it an hour and no progress, I hard shut down.

Everything booted back up, and the system says I am on the latest build of the beta, but I'm not sure it was fully successful. Unable to reinstall through Recovery because I'm assuming the full installer is not out yet. Checking for new software update now gives a new message stating "Your Mac is running the latest software update allowed by your administrator - macOS Monterey Beta 12.

Anyone else seeing that new wording in the update section?

Sounds like a bug with the new Mail security options.

Disable "Protect mail Activity" (you can tick the two options underneath if you wish) and see if that helps.

Remember to re-enable it (if you want it, I don't) when the next beta is released.
Bumping this Mail issues because it's driving me crazy. "Load Content Directly" suddenly required on every piece of mail. Tried toggling "Protect Mail Activity" on and off, no change. Ditto Private Relay. Yesterday's new beta didn't help. Anyone else? Any solves? Thanks!

I'm on b5 and this started for me on b4. It seems to ignore the mail preferences, although sometimes it works as expected. Make sure you have the same setting (Protect Mail Activity) off on the phone in case it's syncing somehow.

There are a lot of issues with Mail and their new Hide My Email settings. I've been getting the same Load Content Directly since B1. It's not happening on iOS tho. But yes on macOS and iPadOS. I've turned the settings off and on and they seem to have no effect. Also images don't always load, but if you go to the web version of iCloud or Gmail, they load fine. The feedback I submitted claims Investigation Complete - Works As Designed...
