What printer are you running and are you using "airprint"?
I dont use AirPrint and I am using a HP Printer. With Acrobat I get an error message "your ink is almost empty" (they are new in fact) and printing is not starting. With Preview no error message and printing runs smoothly............I checked the printing prefs in Acrobat but couldn't find what's wrong in them........

I would suggest to delete the HP printer, reset the print system, then try and find and install the printer and selecting airprint instead of the HP driver. It can't hurt to try.

Thanks for your help. As printing with Preview works flawlessly, I will wait for Monterey final RC and HP will have for sure a new driver designed for Monterey.Resetting the print system with Monterey still in beta may be risky.........

Okay, but Monterey betas for me, at least the last 2-3 have been as good, if not better, than Big Sur.

This is the smart course. Though printing from Acrobat may work for some, it’s not working for you (or me). If you need the ability to print and have a working way of doing so, I’d advise you not to disturb that. I expect to see Monterey released in final in the next 2-3 weeks.

Mac OS twitter client seems to have broken in the latest beta released this week. Crashes on load for me. Tried reinstalling

I don’t see any specific mention of Adobe InDesign?

That app and the first version of any macOS have a long history of not working flawlessly together so if anybody have it up and running for production I would be thrilled to hear. ;)

Working:
Citrix (disable audio to stabilized connection)
Is Citrix still flaky this way?
Microsoft Office
That's great, but what is the oldest version that works, supported or not? My primary machines are on Office 2016 and are staying there as long as possible since they are individually licenced. (No need for a 365 subscription.) Also, does Office 2011 run?

Not working:
Logitech Camera Settings (can't detect camera plugged in)
I'm glad I returned my Logitech cam last month.
NordVPN (won't connect, tried to add VPN config profile to system but nothing happens)
Ouch. That's disappointing.

I use Citrix Workspace often every day and have zero stability issues and no need to change any settings at all to make things work.

As far as Office 2016 goes, their support ended Oct 2020, and Big Sur was released a month after. It’s hard to say whether it’ll work at all, let alone on an M1 Machine.

Office 2016 works perfectly on Big Sur for me, but that's on Intel. However, I won't update to Monterey if Office 2016 is problematic on that OS.

Because I don't have any more 2016 licences, one of my secondary machines is running Office 2011. (I do understand the risks.) However, that machine is only running 10.11 El Capitan anyway. I may replace it with an M1 Pro or M2 machine in the coming months though.

BTW, Office 2011 is sooooo much faster than Office 2016...

Well you're kind of asking if they are both Monterey and m1 compatible.

With the latest Monterey beta, the CZUR Aura Mate software no longer works, as it does not see the USB-connected scanner.

M1 thing? no issues here on my intel mac, same OS...
Thanks for testing this. Yes, maybe it's exclusive to M1. It used to work fine on the same machine while still on Big Sur, though. Good thing I can just use the iOS/iPadOS app instead. The interface is not ideal but plays fine.

The error is always the same
terminating with uncaught exception of type std::runtime_error: Log: Error handling format string 'Download %s of %s progress %s of %s bytes (%d%%)': invalid type specifier

Maybe something changed about Rosetta emulation.

EDIT: Ok actually seems not Monterey-related, not even Mac-related at all. Updating Plex to 1.35.1.2632-c6783c78 manually solved all problems. https://www.reddit.com/r/PleX/comments/pu8k70 Sorry! Well I hope this helps at least someone who thought their Plex crashing was due to updating macOS :)

For those of you who are successfully using GlobalProtect VPN, can you confirm which version you're using? My work currently deploys version 5.2.7-37 and I'm hoping that is compatible.
