Having issues with Citrix Workspace, using the web version while waiting for it to be updated for Monterey.

I've set up Monterey on a partition as I think it's about time I moved off Mojave. Microsoft Office is fine. What isn't fine is printing - I've lost two out of three HP printers on our network, older ones including a trusty Laserjet. Only a new inkjet is recognised. I see HP Smart was updated on 14 October but it seems it's not right for Monterey. Hopefully HP will put this right. But any tips on getting older printers to work - this project seems to have stopped:

Does IBM SPSS 26, SAS JMP Pro 16, Intego Internet Security work with Monterey?
SPSS 27 crash and not working on the release version of Monterey. JMP 16 work fine.
old apps like Scrolling News Ticker, Current Facebook app crash and not working
Backward compatibility is pain every time macOS upgrade version, too bad.

Hello! What about MacsFanControl, TurboBoostSwitcher and iStatMenus?
iStat Menus works about as well on Monterey as it does on Big Sur. I've had some issues with the Drive section causing iStat Menus to freeze up on me, but I'm sure that's one of my external drives causing that issue. Otherwise it runs great. I'm on v6.60 (1177)

I don't use the other two apps.

Yes, sorry, that's what I meant. Hmmm. Ok. I might try a reinstall then, as mine still isn't working. Thanks for confirming.
Immediately after yesterday's Monterey install, 'Bitdefender for Mac' (v.9.0.1.8) caused Time Machine to not function properly - would prevent it from operating. Got onto their Support, and they released an update to their files this morning (26 Oct 2021) that fixes that. Weirdly, the version number stays the same.

Where do I get that update. Does the app automatically update or do I need to get the latest PKG again? Thanks

It may have already downloaded to Bitdefender - but here's the instructions from them -

-Open Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac
-Press on Command + U in order to start a manual update
-Wait for the update to finish and reboot your mac

I think the key thing here to reboot the computer after the update.

I did suggest to them I thought it weird that they would include this Monterey fix in a regular Bitdefender files update (which doesn't require the reboot) and that the version number didn't change, but they didn't respond to that.

Anyhoo, it seemed to resolve the issue.

I just learned that although 1Password 6 (last downloadable version) has been working flawlessly for me in Big Sur, it doesn't look like it's going to work in Monterey. Maybe the new Passwords System Pref can take its place?

Spotify arm version working pretty stable since it's out - you can add it to list :)

any updates regarding VMware Fusion for m1?

Same with me after the upgrade to 12.0.1, I had ver. 2106 installed on 11.6.

Buy her a flower and some chocolate, that will compensate for no access to work. At least for some hours.

Yes, don't do it. Or maybe, lol.

You must have had 2109 installed already when doing the upgrade to Monteray. 2019 (as well as 2018) crashes on install on 12.0.1

*Update:
I installed the Citrix Workspace Beta (2110) on 12.0.1. The install failed according to the installer. Anyway, I rebooted and tried to fire it up (since I could see the App was there in the App folder) and now it somehow works.

Hopefully it will be somewhat stable too.

You might get away with this one if you are lucky :) :)
I took a chance and installed Monterey on my MacBook.

I had already had Citrix Workspace 2109 installed in Big Sur, and fortunately, in Monterey it continues to work fine. Yay!

Fusion for Mac i think is still in public beta. For Linux I think it's working just fine. For windows too but no VMware tools so you're stuck at the low resolution. It is usable tho from the looks of it on YouTube if you really need to use windows in a pinch for that one app that doesn't support Macs at all :p

I am seeing artifacts in IINA when skipping around in videos. This is on my new 2021 MacBook Pro. I do not see with with VLC so it may be an issue with Monterey. I can't recall if I tested IINA on my M1 mini.

Is anyone able to get WatchGuard Mobile VPN working on an Apple Silicon Mac running Monterey?

I do not get the prompt to allow the required kernel system extension to install in Preferences / Security. I've installed this application on an Intel Mac running Monterey and it would show up in Prefs/Security without issues.

I even lowered the security on macOS by following some instructions from Apple to allow installing kernel extensions. I had to shut down, hold the power button down for a while, and then adjust startup security settings. It still doesn't work.
