Notifications still not fixed. don't get your hopes up
Thank you, I'll try uninstalling NordVPN instead of disabling. I've tried uninstalling Little Snitch and still not working. What's MS?I had the same isssue. I uninstalled LS and MS and my VPNs. Works much better in that it actually works. I’m using ProtonVPN with IKE2 and it’s working well. Mullvad flat out said they won’t have anything until it’s released. Didn’t follow-up with PIA but they always have beta issues.
Hope this helps.
How does one perform an update from safe mode? My Mac just reboots every minute or so. I will need to either update from safe mode or reinstall beta 2 from recovery.Thank you, I'll try uninstalling NordVPN instead of disabling. I've tried uninstalling Little Snitch and still not working. What's MS?
Edit: Uninstalled NordVPN as well, and updated to Beta 2 while in Safe Mode.. Wifi still not working.
I also tried hotspot to my iPhone and still no internet connection. No one else having this issue?
MS is MicroSnitch. Nothing to do with Wi-Fi. I’d download and install Appcleaner and reinstall LS. Reboot and use Appcleaner to remove LS again. Hard boot. Make sure your DNS is set correctly. Beta 2 much worse for me on the intel MacBook Pro. WindowServer "reliably" crashes on every restart of the machine even before getting to the desktop. M1 MacBook Pro does not have this problem.Because it does appear to be random, in that the identical situation does not always produce the WindowServer to crash, I am slowly narrowing down when it occurs. I've quit each of my applications in turn and then allowed the laptop to go to sleep and see if the WindowServer crashes upon being awakened.
So far I've narrowed it down to be not dependent on any of my applications. And it isn't even dependent on the laptop going to sleep. It doesn't happen without an external display attached. It happens, randomly, after the external display turns off but the laptop is still awake -- when a key is pressed to turn the displays back on, the WindowServer will occasionally crash -- not always, but occasionally. If I use a screen saver instead of allowing the displays to turn off, then the WindowServer does not crash -- at least not for the last two days.
Had the same issue with beta 1, the second beta fixed it for me.Installed over my Monterey:
- my user can't remember the Dark mode setting after restart/logout (a newly created user can)
Whoa! Thanks for letting me know, as I was about to switch my Intel MBP to Ventura Beta but now I think I'll wait. At least on the M1 MBP the WindowServer only crashes randomly when awaking the external display under Ventura Beta 1.Beta 2 much worse for me on the intel MacBook Pro. I remember finding it with B1 (although it took a while to work out where it had been moved to) but can't find it now in B2.Strange problem: where are going the advanced settings (like DNS) of a network? I f i click "Advanced" beta 2 show me the full list of network where I've logged in...
Thank god you posted this to confirm that I wasn't losing my mind (at least about this). I filed it as a bug – I can get to Ethernet advanced settings, but clicking on "Details" for a WiFi connection just gives the tiniest bit of info.Strange problem: where are going the advanced settings (like DNS) of a network?
