I've been hanging back on 140.0.0.0.0 in case any issues arose after flashing 144.0.0.0.0. Has anyone found any bugs? I just want to make sure I'm good to go with this final BootROM.
It's fine...

Were they simply merging the security update into the recovery image, or was there something else? The 10.14.6 constant re-issues got a new chapter last night, Apple re-issued the Mojave full installer to 18G103 and re-did the Supplemental Update (it's a Recovery update):
061-21551 - macOS Mojave - 6,52GB
061-21545 - macOS Mojave 10.14.6 Supplemental Update 2 - 1,47GB

Since Apple now hides Mojave from the Mac App Store, this is the direct link https://apps.apple.com/us/app/macos-mojave/id1398502828?mt=12
Looking at the distribution file:Were they simply merging the security update into the recovery image, or was there something else?
Not all of those were public releases.Whoa, that's really weird they've released 10.14.6 so many times.

macOS Catalina Supplemental Update
The macOS Catalina Supplemental Update includes installation and reliability improvements, and is recommended for all users.
This update:
• Improves installation reliability of macOS Catalina on Macs with low disk space
• Fixes an issue that prevented Setup Assistant from completing during some installations
• Resolves an issue that prevents accepting iCloud Terms and Conditions when multiple iCloud accounts are logged in
• Improves the reliability of saving Game Center data when playing Apple Arcade games offline

First, fully read this first post MP5,1: What you have to do to upgrade to Mojave (BootROM upgrade instructions thread). So I've already got Catalina on my CMP 4,1 upgraded to 5,1. I did not realize there was an update after 138.0.0.0.0, so that is what is on my machine right now under Catalina. Latest Mojave will not start the installer as it is "too old to be opened". I'm pretty sure I know how to build a bootable installer for Mojave. Question is, if I boot to the installer, does anyone know if it will update the Boot Rom and give me a chance to exit before it tries to put Mojave on over my Catalina install?

Thank you for the help. Worked like a champ!First, fully read this first post MP5,1: What you have to do to upgrade to Mojave (BootROM upgrade instructions thread).
Second, MP4,1>5,1 don't upgrade BootROM from USB, so, install El Capitan/Sierra/High Sierra to another disk, yes you'll need 10.11/10.12/10.13 since current Mojave will not install without BootROM 144.0.0.0.0, then upgrade it to Mojave.
