Midwest, baby, midwest. You won;t be living in a large town, you won;t be in a McMansion, but you'll live well in the farm lands.

I laugh when people whine and piss about houses in America. You can live in the best areas for schools at the cheapest prices possible.... you just have to be brave enough to move there and leave behind the indolent and annoying luxuries of the city.

My whole cost to live yearly (food, tax, car insurance, gas, utilities, etc) is about $6500. Imagine that. And that gets a lot of everything, too. Property tax is only $250/year.

Wow. $250/year. That is hilarious. I believe the taxes on my house are over $11,000/year, and I'm not living in a city, more like a former farming town trying to avoid commercialism by blocking big companies to come in and make stores, ruining the tax base while still wanting to have the nicest schools and public buildings. It makes life quite boring since there is nothing to do. Its a nice a town though, one of the few towns left around here thats not over commercialized.

It is indeed a Samsung. I love that TV.
Weird, my friend has that exact same TV. I seriously want to take a pic of his family room and compare it to yours.

I love how the Mac setup in your sig is roughly the same cost as your house and property, and more that your annual cost of living.

Here is my room.

I just got back from a vacation so it is all clean.

one of the doors leads to my bathroom and changing room with all my clothes.

The house is a Quonset hut so that is why the ceiling is shaped like that.

And the bed is supposedly Andrew Jackson's bed.

Ok, so you live in a Quonset hut so you have like one large room that you apparently have divided into separate living spaces quite nicely?!
I'm really interested in finding out where this is at or is there a neighborhood of them? Not trying to find your local, but that is way cool!

I am 17 and I live in Montecito (Santa Barbara) California.

We are surrounded by huge new mansions but our house is an old farmish house.

The Quonset hut was brought here like after WWII and the house was built around it.

On the other side of the wall there is a whole kitchen and living room in the other side of the Quonset hut.

These are shots of my studio flat in Rickmansworth. It's not a big place, but I like it.

That is wicked.

I'd have my "crib" done by now (why is it I can say "wicked" without feeling old, but not "crib"?), but Apple keeps releasing products that are taking precedence over the few finishing touches I have yet to apply (buy).
