Yes I'd like to give my wife a pearl necklace, she's been bugging me for some new jewelry since she showed me her ring. Unfortunately it was a little small for me and I broke it.

The title change will make this thread go off-topic more than it has already. I'd hate to see this thread hijacked into a chat thread. :( like what happened to the GayWay thread (aka Any Gays Here?)

Mods, please change it back to its former title.

All joking aside, I agree. I definitely don't want this thread turning into any more of a chat thread than it already is. I think it is a great thread which serves its purpose with respect to pictures and getting to know the MR members better, and of course there is going to be some resulting chatting, but I'd like to see a curb on the idle chit-chat here, and the name change probably wouldn't help that...

It has been mostly a chat thread for several months now.
 
well thanks everybody, not used to that much compliments. Dunno why the pic doesnt work for everybody, for me it just works.:confused:

For your reference here at MacRumors as a new member, feel free to browse around and check out the Forums, where there are many helpful guides such as this one which sort of relates to your question, or guides like this one in general.

The quick answer though - after 30 posts you become a member, then after 100 you become a regaular.... :cool:
