i loved the Solar Anus, haha, but im still exploring the site, seems like an awesome guy. and yes a lot of people think i am a weirdo for having piercings and tattoos, but here is the way that i look at it most of the time, no one is perfect, nothing is, and by modding my body and i just taking steps to make it more my own temple of perfection, as superficial as that may seem.... it will never be perfection, but i can try to get as close as i can.

edit: and lets not forget that i like the pain a bit, lets me know that i am alive and still growing experimenting and it gives you a rush. in this modern world i have had my body through the ringer quite a few times, desensitized would be one way to describe what has happened, so piercings, tats, mods, allow not only self expression, but also make me feel more vibrant and alive.

Just one suggestion, but you'll do what you want anyway. :) Try to stay away from the earlobe-stretching. That's surgery if you ever change your mind. BTW- how much longer are you at Navy Pier? Would be fun to stop by.

i actually do plan on stretching my lobes. they are only at a 12g right now. but i would never go lower than 4 anyways. i'm thinking more along the lines of 6 or 8 for myself anyways, probably 6, which really isnt that big at all compared to some people

yeah the guy who pierced my nipples (at the Alley, btw, awesome fun guy) has his lobes stretched to i would say about the size of a can of soda. thats way too much for me.

I hope this isn't too sensitive for the site, but I took a friend of mine to Medusa's Circle to get a prince albert. I got to watch and I think I was in more pain than he was. :)

My friend has one of those. Other piercings I have no problem with, but that one, I just don't understand why a guy would do that. ;)

watching is sometimes worse, you over-imagine the pain because you aren't feeling it. no one went with me, maybe it was for the better, a personal achievement all to myself. i dont think i could ever get a PrinceAlbert, thats just not for me though.... ::shudders:: it does hurt to just think about it.

edit: about the Pier, i will be working there quite often but not every day. There usually Tues, Fridays and Sundays, usually mornings. Store called Oh Yes Chicago, across from McDonalds. be cool to stop in and say hi if you would like. always fun meeting new people.

Agreed on both points - I think sometimes it's more psychological than anything, and yes, I couldn't imagine doing that to myself. :eek:

Hey, it's no competition for me - in my opinion there is plenty of room for good-looking men like us on MacRumors! :cool: You may vote if you like, but we know we're all winners. Am I right guys? :p :cool: ;)

its all in the eye of the beholder to be cliche, i personally dont see any attractiveness at all in myself, but hey thats me and i have a serious self deprecation complex

no competition is needed, just some fun! and everyone is beautiful in their own light

unlikely, you are normal and handsome enough. remember its Navy Pier, we get all sorts of oddities from around the country/world down there. and i suppose that i am one of them myself. :D
