Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro Order Status

It’s here!!!! What an excellent keyboard, I love it.

Feels really sturdy, the adjustable angles are great. Will definitely be getting way more productive use out of my Pro for work, rather than consumption.

Can‘t get over how great the keyboard feels after using the Smart Keyboard (which is nice to type on, but feels so flimsy compared to this).

I believe it's because BB went thru like 3 updates overnight. At one point I looked yesterday it was the 28th they were getting it, now it's moved to the 24th for curbside, and the 25th to be shipped to home.

If you can get thru to BB's customer service, they will get you the $6 back, and probably a rewards certificate as well.

Sorry for any typos, as I typed this my Mac notified me the keyboard was coming tomorrow, startling me. :p
 
My Magic Keyboard has arrived! I’m delighted with it. The keyboard and trackpad experience is great as are the viewing angles.

I’m also surprised at how sturdy this thing is. I have tried to shake off the iPad from the case and it’s going nowhere. Currently using it on my lap and it feels comfortable to use.

Only downside for me is the lack of function key but other than that, i’d give the case a solid 8.5/10.

Anyone w a 4/22 UPS delivery STILL have no further scans? Mine shows the origin scan from Ontario, CA on 4/19 and that’s it. Getting nervous! Going to east coast.

I'm in VA - my case went to PTS around 3 pm yesterday and my card was charged....it showed up as ready for UPS at 6:49 last night and it's still sitting in TN....now I'm obsessively checking UPS MyChoice :).

4/27-5/4 group. My credit card was charged so hopefully it’ll be shipped out soon

I ordered mine last night from Best Buy and paid $21.97 for next day delivery. They better give that money back to me since its free next day now. Of course the wait for Customer Service is 54 minutes! UGH!

Unfortunatley, not really. I tried it, and it will sit on the top row of keys. You can tilt the entire case while it’s attached and it props up pretty well... but then you can‘t use the keyboard / trackpad lol.

Yeah, they do warn about the understandable waits. I may not be a fan of the BB stores themselves much anymore, but the customer service has always been very good.

I just hope they understand and give me my money back. I don't mind the wait because I'm working from home anyway I can just leave it on speaker until they pick up. I'm just afraid they'll give me some bull about wanting to cancel my order and place a new one with the free shipping. I'd even take the money back in store credit because I'm always buying something from Best Buy. I don't want to have to cancel my order and place in line and for some reason it not come tomorrow.

PA here, PTS, card charged, but no UPS My Choice nor FedEx Delivery Manager... Starting to worry about something being wrong with mine... Someone said they had to get in contact with Apple

They should be able to refund the difference, and keep your order. Worse comes to worse, keep your order as is, and offer reward certificates/credit. They can keep your money, and you have to use it there.

Oh Apple, you cheeky scamps. I got my iPad Pro and I got my Magic Keyboard. Unfortunately the iPad is running iPadOS 13.2 and the update servers are clearly struggling! Slowest download EVER.....

Cancel the order and buy it elsewhere
 
Well its arrived :) . Using it to type this as a test. It’s certainly a step up over the ASK and works well on both lap and desk. It’s certainly a hefty piece of kit, which although I haven’t put them on the scales I think makes my 12.9 IPP with keyboard heavier than my work laptop (a 13inch Dell). That’s the trade off for having it so solid and much less prone to tip back than the ASK was on my lap too. As others have said, a function key row would be nice for things like keyboard and screen brightness, volume and well F keys, but putting another row under the floating ipad would have been a squeeze. Maybe better than not having them at all (?) but really cramped for use. Overall, very pleased with it :)

Mine is out for delivery today, but I didn’t get another scan out of Ontario, until almost 1 a.m. this morning. It will probably ship out late tonight.

I’m in the same boat - move to Preparing to Ship yesterday afternoon and nothing, nada, in UPS or FedEx. Hopefully, we’ll see some movement today.
