So my status on apples website changed to shipping on Monday.

Estimated delivery date:
Thursday 4/23/2020 by end of day

Shipping label has been created. The status will be updated when shipment begins to travel


So I’m thinking this won’t arrive tomorrow since it has only a label and it’s 2 day standard :(

I think what everyone is going through is delays due to the virus :( Sorry everyone. Same boat here. Stuck in shipping label limbo. Mine shows shipped, with an ontrac “shipping label created”.

For delivery today according to Best Buy, but Ontrac says otherwise with no eta. 😭

Ok, now I'm really worried. Can't find my order either by logging in or using my order number and email...

I'm in the same UPS status, "Label Created . . . Ready for UPS." As of this morning, I can no longer see my Order Status on Apple. It says "Something went wrong. There was a problem with your request. Please try again." Last night it was at "Shipped" with a 4/23 delivery date.
 
Just an FYI BestBuy has them and delivery by this friday, at least in my area. I ordered yesterday at around 6PM, it already shipped and will be here tommorrow.

Ordered from BB (11in model) yesterday at 11:30AM CST with a promise delivery of Today. Got the delayed email a few hours ago with no ETA any longer... Just says:
We're sorry, we're working on getting it to you soon. If we can't ship it by Wed, April 29, we'll let you know and cancel the order.

But then you go to the BB website and if you look at the 11in Model it says: FREE Shipping: Get it tomorrow

I spoke to Apple since I have a similar issue, he says "Preparing to ship" means they've packaged it up and handed it to the carrier, he says everything seems fine and he says no reason why it shouldn't arrive in the window of April 24 to May 1. He said it is a bit strange it hasn't moved to shipped since he says preparing to ship to shipped usually happens pretty quickly, but it could be that they're holding it till they'd deliver it within the window or a bunch of other factors. He said if there's no movement in a few days then to call them back and they can look into it but he says they no longer have it if it's in Preparing to Ship so they'd have to investigate with the carrier.

Talked to a chat rep at Best Buy, he's assuring mine will 100% be getting to me today, even if ontrac has no label updated yet. Hoping George is right, or else I'm going to go full on Karen! :mad:
 
Apple website also shows "Something went wrong..." Must be all of us checking for our shipments :cool: Howeveer, that problem seems to have corrected itself.

This morning my iPad order said I had a payment issue when it is on the same card as my keyboard that charged on 4/20. CC company says no issue and Apple did not even attempt a charge. Resubmitted payment and now I have a charge for the iPad and status is preparing for shipment.

Apple says 4/23 arrival, UPS still showing 4/22 arrival and only a label creation on the progress detail. Either UPS is behind (which I must say I have not seen this many issues with UPS before) or it will resolve itself tomorrow. iPad has delivery 4/21-4/23, so hopefully all arrives tomorrow :)

Seems like we are all seeing the same things going on.... time to put on the patience hat and let it all work itself out

On the Apple Store app on my phone it says it can't display order info but if I login to the website it's still showing PTS with 4/24-5/1
I stupidly didn't order on the email address connected to the app so I have no way of knowing there. I can neither log on nor use my order number to keep track of my keyboard. Apple assures me that everything is fine and I'll still get it between 4/24 and 5/1 but that's not really putting my mind at ease...

I ordered one from Best Buy yesterday and my shipment just updated to a local scan a few minutes ago with delivery today, so there is hope with OnTrac.
 
A few hours I would give, but this appears to be at least a day, and in a different shipping estimate window. I understand there are other things at play here but I have an Apple warehouse a couple hundred miles east, UPS in TN where the iPhones/Apple Watches are usually sent out of. My point is that I should have information for 4/24-5/1 by now..., but it appears as though people with 4/27-5/4 windows have tracking information and I’m stuck at Preparing to Ship.
Right there with you and I ordered on the 15th.

Apparently I can cancel my order with Apple right now through the chat and put an order in elsewhere... I wonder if I should do it since I'm seeing more reports about shipping windows after mine getting information while I sit here with nothing

Interesting. The exact same thing happened to me. iPad order had a payment issue, keyboard had already been successfully charged on the same card (it was in the same order). Apple said to contact bank. Called bank and they said no charge had been attempted (except previously approved keyboard charge). Called Apple back and they resubmitted charge and it went through just fine. Weird.

I guess if anyone else had this problem, just ask Apple to resubmit the charge first before going through the additional phone hold time and run-around of calling your bank and then calling Apple back.

For those of you concerned about the “Something went wrong...” message on Apple.com. I suspect that was just a website glitch. I noticed that too but the Apple Store app on iOS/iPadOS was still showing accurate information for my order.
 
Apple's saying there's nothing they can do (can't even cancel). I'm really going to be annoyed if I don't see anything by Friday... doubly so if people with later windows start getting their keyboards.
