Apple's saying there's nothing they can do (can't even cancel). I'm really going to be annoyed if I don't see anything by Friday... doubly so if people with later windows start getting their keyboards.

yeah I don't know what the issue is, they told me Preparing to Ship means the carrier has the package so I'm not sure why it's not scanning, he wouldn't look into it for me though, said to wait a few more days first

Yeah, that answer annoys me. Apple said I could cancel the order since it has not shipped and I won't be charged... except I already have been. So there's a lack of information or communication somewhere. This is probably one of the worst Apple launches I've gone through... and I went through the iPhone 7 Plus launch where they didn't appear to even make pluses on time.

The iPad keyboard finally arrived just after 7:00 PM last night. I’d been worried about having a naked iPad Pro in the several weeks since it arrived. (It’s the new 12.9 iPad Pro, which arrived the second week after release.) In the meanwhile, I’d been using a metal stand and an old Apple wireless keyboard.

At around 7:15 PM, a message appeared on my phone that the package (Magic Keyboard) was left on the front porch. In the act of getting up, I knocked into the charging cable sticking out of the iPad. The iPad, dropping from the height of about four feet, clattered loudly on the hardwood floor. And, if this wasn’t horrifying enough, the metal stand on which it had been sitting landed squarely on the iPad glass, with one corner of the stand striking with all the force of the impact.

I’ve checked in all sorts of light. No damage whatsoever to the iPad. Absolutely none.

I may have had a heart attack, however.

I know you're excited for your keyboard, I am too. And I get the frustration. But didn't Apple estimate a delivery window of April 24-May 1 for your order? Given that there's an actual pandemic going on...

Finally got a shipment notification this morning around 8AM EDT. Coming from Rialto, CA. Fedex says tomorrow, Apple says Friday. Hopefully Fedex is right!

Only has to hop a state over to Tucson...

ok update....
  • Ordered on 4/15 at 4 pm ET
  • 4/20 at 3:49 pm moved to Preparing to Ship and CC charged
  • 4/20 UPS shows package info received and delivery by 4/22 at 6:30 pm ET
  • 4/22 at 11 am Apple sends "your item has shipped" email and has tracking on website. Apple now says delivers by 4/24
  • UPS site just says they have the label created and it's 2 day sitting in Lebanon,TN headed to Virginia
So now I'm hoping I will get it tomorrow. UPS will usually deliver in a day even it is a 2 day delivery time if it's this close to me.
<fingers crossed>

I have been in the same label created Limbo with since MondayWith UPS. Best Buy has them on their site with next day delivery for $6 so I went with that and Keyboard will be here tomorrow on 4/23

Mine arrived.

My 11 inch keyboard still shows delivery 4/22 ups. the last scan is 4/20 Tennessee. It’s suppose to make it to Texas today. Apple show delivery by 4/23. Lol

I'm in a similar situation. I'm in Wyoming and mine was in Kentucky until 4AM today, now sitting in CO and is supposed to be delivered today according to UPS... Apple shows tomorrow.

EDIT: I just got notified that it is out for delivery as of 9:34AM... I can't wait!!!

I hope this shipping/support frustrating with Apple lately is just because of the virus. The way these shipping notices are (or aren't in this case) happening is really aggravating. And the way support is handling replacing faulty items like bad iPads/keyboards with trying to repair them instead of providing a new one is really disingenuous.

Mine is in TN. UPS had shown delivery estimate this morning, but it just changed the estimate to tomorrow the 23rd. Seems I’ll have to wait another day.

Still sitting in PTS status. Contacted Apple support and was given a rather rude reply. If I had known, I'd have ordered through BestBuy and gotten it tomorrow. I figured Apple would be the quickest.

Best Buy always seems to be able to get it to you quicker. The problem is that you don't know until later (after you order from Apple :D) that this is the case.

Nothing unusual here.

Unfortunately, just about everything else is unusual.

I think UPS and FedEx are strained right now because the passenger carriers are down and distribution networks are somewhat disrupted. Remember, under normal circumstances, the passenger carriers sell unused cargo space on their planes to shippers and distributors. But with flights canceled left and right, that capacity isn’t there.

Getting similar rude replies. Very frustrating especially since it seems their supply chain has broken down completely.

UPS still only shows "Ready for UPS", and is still convinced it's gonna travel from TN to NC to my door by tomorrow afternoon. That seem unlikely to y'all?
I have the same issue except its to Baltimore. Been showing ready to ship since 4/20. I do not think the UPS app is being updated on a regular basis. Apple sent me a notification that delivery is to be 4/23

Can someone tell me how to use reference numbers to track at FedEx?

Download the fedex app and set that up of copy the tracking number and open safari go to fedex.com and paste.

moments ago I got the UPS apps text, Delivery tomorrow with time range of 12:15 to 4:15.

Just got the keyboard and dam this thing is sexy and WOW the typing is sooo good. I mean I suck at typing anyways but its so much better than the fabric keys of the other cover and I can even type faster on this.

Looks good dont notice any imperfections etc I think I am going to like using this.

Update: Order was just moved to "Shipped" in Apple Store app. Looks like I get to embark on the same saga as everyone else now.

Congratulations!!!!!
