Did you have to sign for it? Most carriers seem to be waiving that requirement in light of COVID.
Ok good. I'm working from home but I still would prefer not to be taken out of my "zone" lol, even if it's for a good reason

Best Buy folks then shipping guarantee is not over night, it is April 29th. If you are getting it earlier you should be glad. (This is why I stuck with my original Apple order which I hope arrives tomorrow)

Curious - did yours come from Rialto, CA or from TN? I'm just a state over in Iowa and ordered my 12.9" about the same time as you (even earlier, actually) and I'm still sitting at "Label Created" in UPS. Was initially set to deliver today, but now it's unknown. Incidentally, my tracking number was created at the same time as yours, 10:18pm on 4/21. But, status on UPS site is just sitting at "label created", as stated above.
I'm over here hoping for some miracle that UPS isn't updated (seeing as my delivery status is still set for yesterday 4/22) and I'll be receiving today at some point. The general consensus is that Apple underpromises and overdelivers so perhaps since they say delivery by 4/24, I'll receive today 4/23! Obviously I'm just dreaming here... but... UGH I want this keyboard

In other news...I ended up getting two...one from Apple and one from Best Buy. I forgot I had some certificates at BB, so I ordered there, and they showed up today. I’m gonna send the Apple one back...but thought I’d offer for anyone here that would want to get one that doesn’t want to wait. I’m gonna post in the Marketplace...but it will be for my cost. Thought I’d try to help someone out. (If I should not have posted that here, sorry...)

Just received mine and typing on the new keyboard! It’s pretty solid. Some minor quirks I’ll have to get used to - 1. Trackpad is quite small and 2. I keep hitting the iPad with my fingers while typing. This Is from someone who traded in his MacBook for the iPad a month ago because of the announcement of the magic keypad. Overall, it has definitely transformed my iPad. Hope everyone waiting receives theirs soon!
For reference, I ordered 4/15 at 11:27pm (27 minutes after launch) and was provided an initial delivery estimate of 4/24 - 5/1. Got my tracking on 4/20 on UPS My Choice with label created and delivery estimate as 4/22. Got an email from Apple of 4/21 with a delivery estimate of 4/23. On 4/22, it had its departure scan from Louiseville, KY (sender was Lebanon, TN) and delivery estimate changed from 4/22 to 4/23. I received it this afternoon, i.e. one day before the earliest initial estimate.

If you paid for overnight shipping it is 4/24.
That being said, I was smart enough to diversify... Both Best Buy and Apple are placed and currently pending... It's all a matter of who shows up first.

There is a reason why the tracking has not yet been updated, and for that I do sincerely apologize! The prioritization of medical supples, along with increased shipping activity worldwide, has resulted in shipping and delivery delays. We are working hard to get everything out to everyone on time. If for any reason your Magic Keyboard arrives late, the tracking information will be updated through the UPS website with the tracking number that you have. I am showing delivery dates between 4/24 - 5/1, so it will arrive between that time with the delays that are going on."

After conversations with Apple & UPS, the best I could tell is that Apple did ship the package yesterday and UPS was slow to update. Moments ago I got an update from UPS via normal automated text saying the package would be received tomorrow by end of day. It did, however, magically warp on 4/20/20 "Label Created" from Lebanon, TN to being "Shipped" on 4/23 at 1:53pm out of Louisville, KY.
At least I now have two websites (Apple & UPS) agreeing on a delivery date. Although it would have been nice to have seen a UPS DeLorean show up yesterday.
I’m waiting on that Rialto shipping as well, except mine is going to Santa Clara. Seems like we are all in the same boat.
Pretty much. I get some people not getting the play by play on UPS/Apples website, but at the end of the day if it’s gets delivered between 4/24-5/1, then they kept their promise when you cashed out on the order. Don’t get me wrong I’m excited that mine is coming early, but I still was anticipating delivery during that original window.
4/21 order processed and ready for UPS and then nothing else with delivery date for today. No updates. Weird. Anyone else have this ?
Yes. Processed and ready for UPS on 4/21 and no activity since then. UPS My Choice had the estimated delivery for today but I don’t think that’s happening.
That makes sense to me! My money would be on UPS as the culprit (ie the one dropping the ball...the weak link in the supply chain) and not Apple. I’d doubt ordering from Best Buy is going to be any better!
Dang. Best Buy moved quickly. Shipped at 2:32. Looks like they've now slipped to Monday. Shipping to PA via FedEx.

I ordered mine around 11:30 or so this morning and I have shipping from FedEx, though the tracking number isn't active quite yet...
Ah...well if Best Buy is using Fed Ex...that might be a point in their favor!! I just have a feeling that UPS is overwhelmed with everything going on in general and is just not able to keep up. Just a hunch!
UPS finally got my package after sitting at label created for three days. Delivery set for Monday. While it is in the original delivery window, I was hoping for a pleasant surprise. Oh well. What’s a few more days?
I’m still at “label created” and nothing has changed AT ALL, well, except that Apple now says delivery 4/24-5/1 instead of 4/24.
